Good location and well pricedPosted Jun 12, 2015
Pros: - Location - Fireplace - Size of suite - Spa bath
Cons: - Breakfast @ $25pp very expensive - Shuttle bus service to local restaurants at night - The restaurant is very expensive and worst food
Location: Location is really good and close to the main wineries. We did a full day wine tour and went to the Japanese restaurant at Tempus Two for dinner.
We were overall really happy with our stay at Harrigan's. We stayed in the premier suite with two couples and there was plenty of room. The fireplace was lovely, although we ran out of wood quite quickly. The bathroom was massive. We had a nice courtyard that overlooked a vineyard. Check in time at 3pm was a bit late and would have been better at 2pm. We went to Tempus Two for dinner one night and it took us 15mins to walk there and back in the dark, it would have been great if a shuttle service was offered. We didn't think there would be many taxis around and that would take us the short distance. The second night we ate at Harrigan's Restaurant, which was very overpriced and one of the worst meals we have ever had. The food quality was terrible and one of our meals came out 50mins after everyone else's. They did however offer us a free round of drinks. The drink prices were SO expensive which we didn't expect considering it's a pub. I think they know they can charge it because there are no other places around to go out. Harrigan's was fun with the live band on the Saturday night but not much of an atmosphere on the Sunday night, even though it was a long weekend. I would recommend booking restaurants on a long weekend as everywhere seemed to be booked out. Recommend visiting these wineries - Audrey Wilkinson, Cockfighter's Ghost, Leo's Gate and Tempus Two

Nice hotel!Posted Apr 25, 2015
Stayed at this hotel, it is close to the tempus two winery where we attend a concert. Very nice hotel, although the restaurant onsite were very busy both nights and we had to wait for a table. Food is nice & rustic. It can get noisy at times, the hotel have ear plugs in the rooms if you are trying to sleep, we found it nice listening to the music.

Good Hotel with friendly helpful staffPosted Apr 14, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: The staff & breakfast was a great buffet selection
Cons: Showers, water pressure was low. Should of NOT been charged for extra bed for a child under 12 months old, we took our own cot!
Location: Great location for exploring the Hunter Valley
Had a good time with the family although there was a little extra noise when the bands started playing in the Pub area but to be expected staying is a place like this. Was charged for child under 12 months $30 extra a night when we took our own Porta-Cot

Great wines plus so much morePosted Mar 3, 2015 on Hotels
Excellent, couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The only reason I scored the room cleanliness a 3 is there was a moth ect in the kettle.
