Picture a bit misleading

This appeared to be a hotel with interior corridors/hallways from the picture, however once we pulled in we realized it was not. The room looked ok from the window but we just couldn't get over the motel environment. I should have done more research..

Thank you for your comments. I do understand that not everyone likes that our rooms have exterior doors, but many of our guests do enjoy the fact that they can pull up to their room to load and unload their vehicles. Ok place to stay.

Location: Great small town . Didn't get to look around much .
Room had dust all over headboards . Jellybeans under edge of bed. hair in bathroom floor . Cheetos in A/C vent . The a/c didn't work properly the first night . Noticed if a/c was on in joining room our a/c would shut off for a while then would come back on for a bit thus making room hot . So we left joining room door open to cool off both rooms. The second day maid service didn't refill coffee packs we used that morning . The chairs in pool area was broken. Noticed pumps weren't even running on pool . I would stay again but only if changes where made.

Clean hotel, little overpriced

Location: Went to the play at Lincoln Park, very good. Would recommend going.
This hotel is dated but very clean. Breakfast was good however, waffle maker was broken. Good, clean place to stay but overpriced for what you get.

Thank you for the comments Steve. I'm sorry that one of our waffle irons was down on your visit. I'm happy to say that both are working fine now. During the summer with all our vacationing families here it is important to keep both irons going.

Pros: The furniture and bed was decent.
Cons: Sound proof the rooms.
Location: 14 miles from Holiday World. One hour from Indiana Cavern.
The hotel was adequate. Not the best place I have ever stayed but, certainly not the worst. The rooms are not sound proof; we were woke up by loud, screaming teenagers in the courtyard at 5am.

Absolutely Wonderful!!

This place exceeded our expectations! It has recently been remodeled so all of the furniture in our room was new. The carpet was clean and the bathroom was sparkling white. The pools were fabulous and the hot breakfast blew my husband away. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back.

I think the pictures didn't paint the proper picture of the property. At least the way other places I have stayed, the rooms are outdoor access which I wasn't expecting for the price. But the rooms were clean, neighborhood was good, Breakfast was okay I've had better eggs and sausage at other places. Waffles were good. Its location was honestly not that bad from Holiday World, nice sights on the way to the park. Beds, towels and all seemed well clean, plumbing and all was clean and updated.

Comfortable and Affordable

My reason for staying at this hotel was solely price, and it fit that bill. It was safe and clean. The breakfast selections were okay (including make-your-own waffles). The location could be a little more convenient - it was about a 20 minute drive to the Lincoln sites, but it was the best option in terms of staying somewhere safe, affordable, and clean. I would stay here again. It seems like it would also be a convenient location for visiting Holiday World.

Hot water, comfy bed, nice staff

After a long day of back-pain-inducing wooden coasters at Holiday World, this place was just what we needed. The water was HOT, the bed was comfy, the room was clean and quiet, the staff was very nice. Breakfast included a waffle maker, some cereals, yogurt, fruit, and some sausage patties, as well as juice & coffee - a good spread and a clean breakfast room. Ate prior to arriving, so we did not try the in-house restaurant, but it smelled good while checking in. I must complain, unfortunately, after returning home I noticed my room had been charged to my credit card even though I had prepaid through Hotels.com. Simple phone call rectified the situation and they were very nice, but still, I should not have to go through that.

Very accomodating

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean as were the grounds. Breakfast was hot and everything was fresh. My room was very clean and smelled good too. Refreshing to find a place to stay that I felt safe, comfortable and # 1.
