"Racecourse hotel on a non race weekend"
Friday night stay; few people in the hotel although there was a small noisy group at the bar doing their best to disturb the surrounding square mile. (This is where a totally open area does not help - screening the bar from the rest of the room would have reduced the carry of the noise.) The staff were very attentive and helpful from reception desk to bar and food areas. The hotel room was the cleanest we have been in for a very long time. The hotel felt new - I hope it stays this way.

"Two night stay"
This must be the best B&B that we have ever stayed in. The room was spacious, well furnished with every little extra that you could think of and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was no noise at all so we slept very well. The breakfast was delicious and the host and hostess very friendly and helpful. Our two night break was excellent value for money - we shall certainly be back.

"Simply amazing!"
We stayed for two nights and found the facilities to be top quality. Room was spacious, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. Superb breakfasts are served in a very stylish, large, open plan living area with 3 sets of bi-fold doors opening onto a patio area and garden. Our breakfasts were exellent and it was fun to chat with our hosts and other guests in a wonderful setting. Nicky and Stuart are happy to hand over their property to hen nights, wedding and family gatherings, brilliant idea. They are engaging hosts, are very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

"Braywood House Hotel"
This was a pleasant surprise. Although the owner was out when we arrived, every effort was made to let us know, and we could let ourselves in. When we eventually met the owner, he was charming and helpful. The location is peaceful (despite the nearby railway line). This is a small family-run hotel and the owner clearly understands the needs of his guests. The included breakfast was generous and freshly cooked. I would recommend Braywood House to anyone, and will certainly use it next time we're in the area.

    Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire Hotel Guide

Huntingdon is a thriving market town about 20 miles northwest of Cambridge. Its most celebrated resident was Oliver Cromwell who was born in the town in 1599.
