Old motel in a unfriendly neighborhood

Posted Mar 23, 2015
We stayed there for 5 nights. The neighborhood seems to be very unsafety and unfriendly in this suburb of LA. The facilities of the motel don't look like the photos on the internet, there are really old. The room was very small, the WiFi often didn't worked and the breakfast was for nothing. You can hear almost every thing through the walls of the room. I really do not recommend this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a quite friendly hotel at such a short notice. The host was polite and very helpful. My room was clean and comfortable.

Pros: The free and more or less 'secure parking'... :(
Very low end accommodations. Free breakfast consisted of cold cereal only. Juice machine only dispensed water, and the pastry cabinet was always empty no matter what time you entered the breakfast room. Had to ask for spoons and a paper bowl each day because none were available each day. Be prepared to have 'Nocturnal neighbors' who you can hear thru the floor boards all night.

You get what you pay for

Posted Jan 4, 2015 on Hotels.com
We needed a room close to USC Keck hospital. You get what you pay for. The owner's or management are clearly trying to cut expenses. There were no hand towels or wash cloths, no extra roll of tp (we ran out), no Kleenex, not even a remote control for the tv. Pillows are terribly deflated. But..... some remodel attempts are evident, it was a roof, bed and hot shower with an IHOP right next door. Not close to freeway access but not too far either. I'd stay here again but bring my own pillow, tp, towels and tissue.
