Nice hotelPosted Nov 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here after a wedding in the area and it was great, especially for the price. The room was comfortable and clean and it seemed to have been recently redone so it was modern and looked new. Loved that there is a full kitchen area in the room as well fully stocked with all things needed (silverware, dishes, cups, coffee machine, stove, microwave, etc. ). They also have a little general store that has food options which is super convenient. The outside/lobby/hallways of the hotel itself were not great but that didn't matter much to use. The bed was comfy enough and it was great for our overnight stay. Would definitely stay here again if I were in the area- the hotel was definitely just as nice as others in the area and for 1/2 the price.

Dirty, Disappointing and Way Below StandardsPosted Nov 19, 2013
Pros: It was close to my business meeting.
Cons: Cleanliness, furnishing, new linens and bedspreads, overall repairs through out the hotel, staff training.
My wife and I have always had excellent experiences with Candlewood Suites, so when I needed to travel to Huntsville, Alabama on business, we were confident that the brand name would live up to its guarantee. Contrary, the hotel was dirty, outdated, with worn ripped furniture, worn curtains and linens. and the front desk staff was very unpleasant. The refrigerator was so loud it kept me up at night. When I started to walk down the hallway, I witnessed one of the staff members take a dirty guest towel, wipe a water glass with it and put a new paper lid on it. Disgusting. The "Executive Office," was a tiny closet sized room with a very old computer and one printer, which I was told, doesn't really work. I wanted to leave immediately, but I had meetings to go to and was not familiar with the area. I can never trust Candlewood Suites again. When you travel 3,000 miles on your own dime for business, the last thing you want is to be treated disrespectfully, and have to sleep in a dirty noisy room.

Pros: Very good value
Cons: Minor repairs needed (in room safe, etc).
Location: Near a large mall with lots of high end shops and restaurants
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Gym was convenient.

Great ValuePosted Nov 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice, comfortable, clean, quite, in a safe area. Staff very courteous. Under priced for what you get. Great location off busy roads but close to freeway. Very close to many restaurants, Monaco theatre, shopping.;

Good StayPosted Nov 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
I enjoyed the stay and the room was really nice. The only draw back was since I didn't have a vehicle, there were not any places within a decent walking distance to go eat and I had to order in. Other than that, it was a good choice. Would stay again.

Stayed overnight while on a road trip. Hotel has been updated since last time I stayed here in 2005. The standard room was comfortable, clean and adequately stocked in the kitchenette and bathroom. Staff was quite helpful and took initiative to make sure our room was ready and we knew how to get around the local area. Additional positives included swing arm mounted television, blackout curtains, quiet rooms/area. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Huntsville.

great locationPosted Oct 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Minutes from outlet mall. Friendly staff. The only ONLY drawback is there is no made service; so you have to go all the way back to the front desk and "trade in" your used towels for new news. Other than that, great stay. Loved the "Candlewood Cabinet" full of snacks and courteous staff.
