“Hotel Stay”

I had to change from another hotel through Expedia. When I arrived, the hotel was very quick with assisting with changing of my room. I'd had a long trip & really appreciated their expeditiously helping to make sure I could get to bed as fast as possible!

“Good Service”

Service was good, good location.

“Good enough”

Nothing extremely good or bad to report. One of the two elevators was broken during the entirety of my 3 night stay. Breakfast was good (not free though), everything was clean, and the hotel was easy to find.

“Good Deal”

Hotel and room very clean; I had to look for signs of wear & tear. If you've ever stayed in a hotel then you'll have no unpleasant surprises here. There are a lot of dining options within walking distance or a short drive up University Drive. Try somewhere local rather than a national/regional chain. It's Alabama, be on the lookout for some good down home fried catfish! Also, the bar is mediocre; they run the place like a dance club with music thumping, but on a Wednesday night I can't imagine the "crowd" is more than a few business types just wanting a quiet drink before bed. I'll be back for the next trip to Huntsville, thanks Holiday Inn.

“not impressed”

Did not disclose I was getting a hideway bed as my second bed. also would not give me my pool view room I asked for. There were plenty open. As a soldier in the US Army in uniform I would have expected better treatment!

“old and tired”

I would not stay in this hotel again. The hot tub was the worst I have ever seen. Basically a big bathtub the jets barely worked. Pool was dirty. Loud party on pool deck till 3am pool closed at 11. Dirty dishes in hallway outside our room when we arrived sat for 2 days. Overpriced and outdated.
