“Happy business traveler”

Was there Nov 13, 2012 for business for one night. Staff was very friendly, accomodating, professional. Warm inviting lobby, nicely appointed w/ tables and cozy chairs to lounge in, free internet access in lobby and room. They called my room 20 min after I checked in to see if everything was ok - nice touch. Very comfortable, modern, furnishings. Extended stay type setup, separate bedroom w/ closed door, comfortable bed, spacious living room and small efficiency kitchen fully equipped. I enjoyed their complementary full breakfast buffet (eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, cereal, pastry, juice, coffee) they also do complementary buffet dinner but I ate out w/ my team. It's located in a very quiet section of Huntsville (Village of Providence) - picturesque. On premise exercise room. Wish more hotels were this full service in my hometown of San Francisco. Great value for the price. I'd go back.

“Nice hotel, needs better parking”

This is a fine hotel, with well-kept and nicely appointed rooms. Check-in was a bit brusque, but otherwise, the service was excellent, with an above-average breakfast. The main problem with this location is a shortage of good parking because their lot is public and small (relative to the hotel) and there is a thriving nightlife for Alabama demanding that parking at eventide.

“Not Impressed with Food”

Very nice hotel in a great area. The breakfast was less than I expected. Most of the selections were microwave type selections examples like the bacon was over cooked, several items were dried out. I was not real impressed. I definitely would not stay at the hotel based on the meals. The other services were

The Homewood Suites in Huntsville was good enough. There was nothing spectacular about it, but there were no deficits either. The staff was pleasant. The room was clean and well-appointed. The neighborhood seemed safe. There was an Italian restaurant next door--convenient, but mundane with truly bad coffee. We would stay there again because the location worked for us, but we wouldn't go out of our way if our reason for being in Huntsville were in another part of town.

This is a nice hotel in a good area with plenty of resturants. The staff is friendly and the place is quiet and well maintained.

Nice location near Huntsville. Close to downtown and local shopping.
