Not up to Hilton standardsPosted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Location fit my needs and the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious.
Cons: Attitude of the staff.
Location: Located in a planned work/live community. Several restaurants and shops on the property. Space center is main attraction.
Located in a congested planned community where parking is difficult with lots of retail shops and restaurants close by. I asked for a quiet room and got one located next to an ice machine. Yes, someone was getting ice at 6:30 AM. I asked the clerk for a different location ....she looked at her screen for about 20 seconds and said nothing else was available and they were not responsible for guest requests. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was poor at best. My past experience at Homewood suites was very good. Quality has definitely slipped. Last night of our trip we stayed in a Holiday Inn Express and the breakfast was excellent....far superior to Homewood Suites in Huntsville.

Nice place to stayPosted Jan 29, 2014
Overall satisfied with my stay here, close to some nice places to eat. Mellow Mushroom, Grille 29 to name a couple. (Within walking distance). Rooms were clean (daily) facility was niche and professional, hot breakfast in the morning. Couldn't ask for a better stay.

Hotel over all exceptional, clean, quiet, comfortable. It would be nice if they upgrade the breakfast and the bed covers,

Awesome!!!Posted Dec 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff was very warm and the accommodations were great. I got in early from driving all night from Midlothian, Va. I was allowed to check in early and check out late. Got there in time to get breakfast. I could not have asked for a better stay. This was my first time staying in Homewood Suites and first time in Huntsville too! Loved the surrounding shops.

Great stay with familyPosted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was spotless, the hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good - it had plenty of options and was well-stocked by the kitchen staff. We had no trouble finding the hotel, there was plenty of parking with restaurants very close by. We would definitely recommend this hotel for families, and would choose to stay here again.

Great hotel for great pricePosted Aug 25, 2013
Pros: Pretty much everything.
Cons: Plain breakfast tea added to the teas with the breakfast buffet.
Location: The area the hotel is located in is also great for walking around, as there are several restaurants and stores within a couple minutes' walk.
We were very impressed with everything offered in the room given the rates were similar to other hotels. There was a small kitchen, a table, a desk, a sofa, and a king bed. There was even a bag of microwave popcorn. The bed was very comfy. Wi-fi connection was excellent, and there was also an ethernet cable. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were good quality. Lots of towels provided. Alarm clock wasn't super bright, which made falling asleep that much easier. The breakfast had hot biscuits, sausage patties, sausage gravy, eggs, potato wedges, cereal, fruit, an assortment of pastries, yogurt, coffee and a variety of teas (weirdly no plain tea, but that was provided in the room, so no big deal), and 3 kinds of juice. I'm positive there were other things available that I've forgotten. Staff was great, and check in/out was a breeze.

Great place and first rate stayPosted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Exceptional service, lives up to its brand and then some. Meals were outstanding. Pool great and walking distance to top restaurants. Will stay here again.

Visit to the area to see family, first time in yrsPosted Jul 14, 2013
Pros: Suite was very comfortable, liked the fitness center, convenient access for us.
Cons: Outdoor pool was quite small and water surprisingly cold cold cold despite July--though it had been raining for days.
Location: Need a car, more of a village setting -- but not crowded or noisy. No problem finding nice eateries. Pretty city.
It was good--all staff were helpful, breakfast buffet was hot and healthy with good variety.

The location is nice w/ plenty of places to eat surrounding it. A Walmart & CVS is near as well to get snacks. The breakfast was great!!! I will stay here every time I come to Huntsville

Great stay, but breakfast wasn't that great!Posted Jul 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The entire hotel was spotless and there wasn't a single hair or spec of dirt in my room or bathroom. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were professional, friendly, and very helpful in any way we needed. The breakfast was not good at all. The waffles and grits had no flavor and I just don't feel like it lived up to the description on the website.
