“You get what you pay for”
The room smelled of smoke. The sheets and blankets were very old and warn. While we were at the pool one of the employee dumped chemicals in it making it very cloudy. Would have thought they should have asked people to get out of it. Pets are allowed. There was a family at the pool with 3 kids, 3 dogs and 2 cats that were living there for a month. You can only imagine.
“Friendly staff but hotel run down”
Convenient location, staff was friendly, but had to wait about 5 minutes at the front desk before anyone arrived. Room was tidy but did not look very clean....furniture had holes in it and was soiled/filthy. Room was noisy..could hear the TV and guests talking in the adjacent room. I was on a business trip for the day but decided to drive back that night because I didn't feel that comfortable in the room for the reasons just mentioned (not because I felt the hotel was unsafe) This is an acceptable place to "crash" if you just need a place to sleep but I wouldn't recommend it and won't be staying there again.
“Great accomodations at a really good price!”
The front desk clerk was surprisingly informal, but it didn't bother me, because the hotel was much better than expected. I've been to La Quinta in other locations before, but this was the best I have been to with the very best rooms. And the price of the hotel was the lowest that I paid during my entire 10 days of travel !

Our overall stay was above average, unfortunately we were there for four days for a fishing tournament and the hotel lacked adequate parking for truck/boat. But the hotel staff did everything to accommodate the parking dilemma.

Room given to me was not cleaned up yet. Had to go to other room,which was not ready yet.
