“Nice and comfortable”

I was only there for an overnight stay, but it was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the bed was so comfortable! All the amenities I needed.

“Nice new La Quinta with indoor pool!”

This La Quinta is pretty new and still very nice. My wife and I enjoyed the indor pool and hot tub, though the jet control for the hot tub was broken. The breakfast was pretty good for the overall per night cost. Waffles, biscuits, sausage, and grits were the hot options. The wall between the bathroom and the hallway were a little thin, as we heard people walking and talking in the hallway pretty often. Very clean overall, friendly staff and the bed was firm but comfortable.

“Solid good hotel”

The hotel was new and clean (4/10). The staff was the friendliest and most helpful group I've come across. The front desk offered restaurant choices, local travel tips, and asked us if we had all that we needed practically every time we came by - and all done with a smile! The buffet breakfast was simple and good and the staff for it was as equally attentive to customer needs. The heated indoor pool was a great way to end the day. The location seems designed for business travelers, but as a family, we didn't find it too far away from the sights. A solid good hotel!

“Nice place to stay”

this hotel is rather new...so the place is very clean and well kept. The rooms were very nice with flat screen tvs and and very modern designed bathroom and shower.I did see a couple beetles in the hall ...but i hear that those beetles are everywhere in Alabama.

“nice new hotel”

bath area wasn't finished, dry wall, pipes coming out of the walls, the show curtain leaked on the floor so bad, i had to use 2 other towels to avoid slipping all over.

“Nice, clean, livable.”

I stayed here while working at the Restone Arsenal for four nights. The room was very clean as were the common areas. Because of rain, I spent some evenings in the room and it was nice and quiet with a good sized TV, wired and wireless internet. Bring your own Ethernet cable in tha tthere is none in the room and you'll have to go back to the front desk to get one with a deposit. (I like the 25' flat cables for traveling). The pool and jacuzzi loked nice but I didn't have a bathing suit. The few staff that I saw were friendly and attentive. There's a few restaurants within walking distance but they are mostly fast-food. The adjacent gas station mini mart will keep you supplied with soda and snacks. The ice machine on the third floor was broken but the fridge in the room kept my soda cold. There's an in-room microwave also. The coffee supplied is the worst that I've ever had and the packets have Nutri-Sweet (pink) so if you want good coffee, wait until the complimentary breakfast or go out. The complimentary breakfast is moderately nice with a good assortment. Not super-deluxe with an omlette bar or anything but they have a couple of hot entrees, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juices, waffles, danishes etc.

“Not as nice the second time...”

We stayed at this hotel during Thanksgiving of 2009 and liked it enough to rebook it this year (2012). This stay, however, the bed was not near as comfortable as I experienced on our previous stay. The bed was hard and actually made my shoulders hurt if I laid on my side. The pillow top of the Serta Concierge mattress on this bed was non existent. The room was clean and comfortable otherwise. The desk clerk that greeted us on our arrival and checked us in was very polite and seemed genuinely concerned with our experience. They went over the amenities and made sure any questions we may have had were answered. The morning we checked out, the desk clerk didn't greet us in an engaging manner and never asked us if we were happy with our stay. They asked if they could help us, I told them we were checking out, he asked for the room number, took our door cards and said we'd get our receipt from Expedia. Very short. Seemed they could care less if we were satisfied with our stay or not.
