“I recommend it”

We loved our stay at the Residence Inn in Gravenhurst. It's a great location that made us feel relaxed the whole time. Staff are friendly and helpful. We took full advantage of the pool, hot tub and gym: a great facility that was virtually all ours. The huge breakfast that was included in our rate was fantastic. There was heaps of variety but best of all you could make your own waffles!

“Fantastic hotel”

When we visit the Gravenhurst area we usually stay at Taboo Resort or Deerhurst. I must say this hotel was a pleasant surprise. It is a GREAT location. The room was immaculate. I will definitely stay at this location again!

Just what you'd expect from a Marriott, on the wharf, near restaurants and the boat trip on Muskoka Lake.

Located at Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst, this hotel has a wonderful view of the lake. The service and cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. They offered an average breakfast and the full kitchen helped us a lot since we have a small kid.

“Family friendly, excellent value, beautiful hotel - what more could you want?!”

We were SO impressed with the Residence Inn Marriot in Gravenhurst. We were traveling with 2 kids under 3, staying for one night so we booked a king studio with pullout couch and brought the playpen for our youngest. Even with the couch pulled out and playpen assembled, there was plenty of space. The kitchen was a great bonus for us - although we didn't cook, we were able to store the kids milk, etc in the fridge. The room was beautiful - modern decor, very functional. We also had a waterview balcony overlooking the bay. We used the pool which was nice but too deep for our 3 yr old to touch the bottom, so next time I'll be sure to bring the water wings! My husband used the gym and enjoyed it - it's fairly basic I think, but did the trick. Our stay included buffet breakfast for the entire family and it was great! There were so many options for us and the kids, and the staff was very accommodating in cleaning up after our messy kiddos! In fact we tried to do it and they wouldn't let us! We got an awesome rate through expedia and couldn't believe the value for our money! We had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again soon!

“Clean, modern, friendly”

We rented an suite with kitchenette, king size bed and fireplace. It was a snowy evening and the ambience was very romantic :-) Breakfast the following morning included sausage, eggs, hash browns, bagels, muffins - much better than continental. The hotel is close to the Sequin dock for boat trips in the summer.

Excellent hotel! Great rate through Expedia. Stayed one night and headed to Santa's Village the next day. Swam in the pool 3 times in our short stay. Breakfast was amazing and included! The kids loved making the waffles. Stayed in the king studio suite (2 adults and 2 young children) - plenty of room for the family. Would bring kids' life-jackets next time so they can enjoy more of the pool - they had to stay close to the entry steps as the pool starts at 3 ft. deep.
