“Huntsville motel”

The bed in this room was the worst I have ever tried to sleep in. There were springs poking up all over. Over all the look of a hotel in decline.

The hotel was very clean and presentable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised. Bathroom looked brand new. Had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, and was nicely furnished. The A/C was AWESOME! It was an extremely hot day that day and when I opened my door for the first time and that cool air hit me, I thought I was in heaven. Great Job! Will be back! Oh, it had free Wi-Fi!! Who could ask for more?

“Not too bad - would stay again”

I would have liked to have had a room a little closer to the outside door but after hearing if slam over and over and over again all day and all night (no way were we getting any sleep) I was glad to be in the middle of the hallway. The lady at the front desk was really nice when we showed up a little too early to check in and we were able to get our room before the usual check in time. The room was just fine. Plenty of space, nice tv, bed was comfy. The tub was really small and the toilet seat was broken but we managed. I liked that it was set back from the highway so we didn't get a lot of highway noise. Also, we had a nice little drive through the neighborhood and got right to the "downtown" with no problems. If we go back to Huntsville any time soon we will probably stay here again....but don't expect to do laps or anything in the pool...it was more of an oversized bathtub than a "swimming" pool. It is 3ft deep all the way around - perfect for little ones who just want to splash and play! Didn't wake up in time for breakfast - they stopped serving at 9am. All in all not such a bad stay.

“Super 8 was way better than Motel 6 - super comfortable”

I thought the price I paid was a little high but was surprised that there was some extra space in the room with a couch and table. That was great so I could get ready in the a.m. while my boyfriend continued to sleep. I also think the a.m. "breakfast" was lacking, but no big deal. The hotel was clean and comfy - 2 biggies.

“good for the money”

Exactly what I expected for Super 8. Clean, comfortable room, good value, acceptable service. Not a lot of frills, but we only needed a bed and bath for the night. We opted out of the scant breakfast (lots of other options, like IHOP, nearby). Would stay again.

Probably the best experience I could have ever expected, I have no complaints. The staff was extremely friendly, the lady at the front desk when I checked in was very helpful in everything I needed. The room was very spacious and nice, I got a good deal through booking early. It is hard to find decent hotels that have smoking rooms, and so this was definitely a plus. I took pictures and had friends tell me that similar-looking hotels they went to cost twice the price I paid. There was a good surrounding area, with a dairy queen and gas station within easy walking distance. The free wifi was very nice, I could easily watch shows online on my laptop without choppiness and buffering. The continental breakfast was decent: muffins, bagels,fruit,pancake mix, oj, milk and coffee/hot chocolate machine. Overall, just a wonderful stay- we ended up deciding to stay an extra night more than we planned.
