Walked into a tiny dirty run down room and immediately went back to the front desk and said I could not stay under these conditions. I asked for a refund and was told to contact Expedia as I booked through them. The man was anything but polite or helpful. I tried to call Expedia 2x the man disconnected me and I never heard back. Terrible service

With construction on site, it must be challenging to keep facilities looking tidy! Although staff was helpful when we had problems getting our tv to work, it wasn't working well the second night either. We were also disappointed when our coffee maker was not fixed as promised. Perhaps spring and finalized construction will help with more consistent service.

It hasn't been the best place for awhile but stayed for convenience. Will never stay again. Charging full price for rooms that should be closed. Room was filthy dirty. There is construction going on but is no reason why the rooms are disgustingly dirty. Toilet seat was broken/dirty, mold in the bathroom in several spots, stunk of urine and the walls/light switches were dirty. Soap and water is an easy/cheap solution. Will never go back even when new build us open because they dont care about customer service at all. Equipment was beeping and going at 8:15am when there is a 9 oclock bi law. Wyndham should be embarrassed to have their name on this place.

Although the property is under construction as they are building a 5 storey hotel, we were super impressed with how clean the room was, how big the room was and how quiet it was. We would stay here again for sure.

It's is under construction! Construction garbage, dirt piles and heavy equipment. Would not have stayed had we known. Room was listed as two queen and a double. We got two doubles and a queen. Listed as having a "sundeck" got a tiny dirty square of a deck surrounded by construction garbage.

The building was under construction and there was a lot of construction in the area that was not listed on their website. Staff was polite and very helpful. Made for very nice overall. Maybe just a little overpriced

Very disappointed in this property. Wasn’t advised it was under construction. The toilet wasn’t anchored to the floor, no WI FI when we got there. A chair my husband sat in - the leg broke off which could have been an accident waiting to happen. And no breakfast because of construction and we’re compensated with a coffee pot in the room!!!!! This place should not have been open while under construction. Very disappointed with the price we paid. Would not recommend to anyone at the present time. Also 2 telephone calls at 4:13am

Property currently looks completely different than pictures advertised. The whole front area is under construction. The pool is closed. On check in the room was hot and musty smelling, and I found a bed bug in one bed. Hotel refused a refund but Expedia was more than helpful and offered alternative accommodations (I had already gone and checked in somewhere else).

The place should be closed. They are building a new place and they existing units are going to be torn down. the parking lot is ripped up and there are large garbage bins and building materials in the parking lot -- roof trusses. The access to the front lobby was dangerous, rubble, broken patio stones, sand piles, unbelievable! The continental breakfast was a brown paper bag with expired yogurt and an old shrivelled up apple. The room itself stunk like old stale cigarettes and was dirty. The patio door was difficult to open and close. They advertised 2 patio chairs and a table on a nice deck outside the room, but it was an old deck and no chairs or table on it and looked into a neighbours backyard, no fencing or privacy between them. The air conditioner was loud and squealed. The TV volume would not turn up and the closed captioning was distorted so you could not read it. All in all it was TERRIBLE.

However, now that we do not have any snow, the cleaning is already started. Usually patio doors are difficult to open in winter due snow, and we only provide chairs on patio in summer. However, once the cleaning is done in coming days there will be no further disturbance to guests due to construction work. We once again apologize for inconvenience caused. I found the room and bathroom rundown and the so called continental breakfast very disappointing. I appreciate that this location is about to build a 5 storey new facility but they need to do much more to attract and hold customers until the new motel is completed. Staff were great but the motel was not.

Not the best in town
Staff is super friendly. Rooms are really dated. Seems like they haven’t changed since the 90s. My sister stayed at the Quality Inn in Bracebridge the same night and her room was much nicer for not much more money. I would suggest it first but use this Travelodge as a back up.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! This hotel has many smoking rooms which I did not notice when booking. I am 8 months pregnant, a non-smoker and traveling with my husband and 3 year old child. Upon calling the morning of to see if an early check-in was possible I was told no. I was told that no rooms in the entire hotel would be clean before 3pm. Then I was told that an early check-in would cost $80. I have stayed in Bracebridge many many times and never encountered this. When it was mentioned that I had booked a smoking room I explained that was a mistake and my family and I would be unable to stay there for health reasons, I was told "too bad." They refused to swap rooms or issue a refund. Then they said that I had not selected that I had a child with me and that would be an extra $20. They explained that they had and were just directly charging my credit card for all these extra fees as we spoke. I called back and spoke to the front desk manager at 9am and they were even more rude than the first person who called themselves the owner and said they were not responsible for my mistake and failure to read. I literally have no idea how this place is still in business or under franchise with Wyndham - unbelievable.

The area it was situated in was good as it wasnt far from santas village and close to walmart. The staff were very friendly. But I will not stay again though due to bath plug broken, coffee maker in room broken, screen door on patio broken, and 1 bed tilted down at the head. Kids found a lot of debris and old popcorn under the beds when playing. Pool was not heated as stated and breakfast was an apple, yogurt and drinks.

positive outdoor pool small deck with two chairs to sit on just outside patio doors to room Beds comfy Negatives screen door to patio is not attached, therefore could not leave patio doors open for long due to flies entering room. coffee machine did not work refrigerator had no door panel to freezer part of it bathroom really small bathroom door did not close all the way breakfast was in a bag. it contained 1 granola bar, 1 apple, 1 bottle of water, 1 juice box and 1 small container of yogurt. Not much of a breakfast especially if you have kids with hungry appetites! however a coffee dispenser machine is available for different drinks at the main lobby. Pool hours are limited. closes at 7pm. Not a great idea when kids stay at this motel. I paid 245.00 a night to stay there with one child. I strongly do not recommend for families with kids as pool hours are limited! Also for the amount of money i paid for an overnight, the motel can do much better than a poor man's breakfast in a bag!

Disgusting property! Torn carpets. Smelled like pee.Door didn’t lock. ( had to put a suitcase in front of it) asked for my money back Expedia called the hotel and they refused. We travelled home. We lost our money and I didn’t feel safe with my 1 year old to stay there! Horrible service at Travel lodge. I will ensure to boycot this hotel and owner.

I was awakened at times by traffic, and maybe the property isn’t as soundproof due to its age. But otherwise, l enjoyed my stay. The concierges were extremely helpful, friendly and took care of us.

Good location. It was just very dirty considering how much I paid. There is so much maintenance to do that I suspect ownership has simply given up and it will be torn down soon and replaced with a hotel style property.
