No water in part of hotel where my room was.

Pros: Very little.
Cons: Tell guests BEFORE they check in that there won't be water service and offer to refund their money.
Location: The location seemed OK. I was there for 2 specific reasons so I didn't explore other activities while in Madison, AL.
I arrived late afternoon on Friday, 4/24/15, looking forward to a nice shower before going out for my evening activities. But guess what. The water was shut off in the section of the hotel where my room was. They told me the repairs would be fixed in about an hour. The guys fixing the plumbing problem had the hallway to my room blocked off with their equipment and I had to exit by the front desk, go outside and walk around the dirty empty pool to gain access to my room. My schedule wouldn't permit me to wait an hour to shower and still make my evening engagement. So I had to change cloths and get ready to go out without having my shower. I had planned on staying 2 nights, but Saturday morning I received a call from the front desk at 4 minutes before 11 o'clock saying they would be shutting off the water within an hour for repairs. (They told me Friday it would be completed Friday...in an hour.) Because I didn't have an activity until later in the day I was in my room watching TV in my pajamas when I received the call. I confirmed I had time to shower before the water was turned off. This time they offered no information as to how long the water would be shut off. I showered, dressed, packed up my belongings and checked out a day early. A hotel without water is not adequate.

Cons: Maid service.
Not a bad hotel. Stayed 2 nights. Front desk staff was kind of slow, and didn't receive any maid service while I was there.

Lobby presented well, and front of building nice

Pros: The garden/courtyard area was nice
As I drove around the building the "dock or receiving area" looked like a back porch hang out. There were chairs a bucket and a knocked over table. When I entered the side door close to my room, it smelled old, the carpet looked dirty and it was dark. My room smelled even worse. I would not return to this hotel.

Poor service and overall cleanliness of the entire facility. The lobby area was like a zoo with hardly any personnel knowing or experienced in hotel management/support.

A Raddison in name only - Needs some work

Location: good location near the airport and Interstate.
I stayed at this hotel for 1 night in April. The hotel is dated and the grounds are in need of repair. The pool looked like a swamp, 3 feet of brackish water and junk in it. The rooms were very clean and well appointed with good amenities. There we no signs in the halls pointing to the Lobby, it was a huge maize which was totally confusing.as it is a large 2 story lay out. The breakfast was totally disappointing, no breads at all, I asked the cook if he could make me some toast which he did. Had better in Super 8 The bar food was OK, normal faire, hostess was too folksy _ Yes Honey, OK Dear Not the Raddison experience I am familiar with it

Not What It Used To Be

Have stayed at the Radisson several time in the past however it has been a few years ago. It is not what I remembered. It did not appear to have been kept well.

Pros: The linens are plentiful and clean...the desk and chair are good

Location: The location is good....restaurants, gas stations, big box stores...the interstate are all nearby
In my 5 stays the phone in my room has not worked. The breakfast lady does a great job. The staff is constantly changing. Housekeeping is marginal....sometimes there is coffee, sometimes not. I won't stay there again.

Airport radisson

It's was a very clean and beautiful lobby so I knew the rooms would follow suit. After check in, which was very quick and easy, I went to my room and to no surprise it was clean, the bed was a the ones that you can adjust the firmness, such a great room.
