“Great hotel”

Hilton hotel all inc. was a good experience, we read through majority of the web reviews and decided to book this hotel. The hotel from the outside looks like a resort hotel (dont expect the 5* look) Check-in was pretty crowded however A large tour group was just leaving. The reception staff were very polite and professional. The walk to the room from the reception was rather long, however this was compensated with the beautiful sea view from the room balcony, the room was larger than a normal room. The hotel is on a very large site, plenty of space to find a good spot for privacy and to relax. we used the main pool - the pool wasnt crowded at all. we were nervious of the 'eastern block' tourist attitudes as read on other web sites, however we need not have been they were polite, kind and queued etc)no problems. At meal time it was getting a bit crowded in the restaurants, however we timed our meals to about an hour after each meal started and that seem to work out well. The meals, breakfast great, lunch good, dinner great. Different themes every meal time, the deserts were wicked. Staff were polite and well mannered, ready to help. Evening entertainment was good, live singers by the pool, the setting and presentation was pretty cool. A good family hotel destination. The down side, one of the restaurants the setting table, chairs and in general was a little worn / dated. A bit crowded in the reception during most evenings

“Great Hotel.”

The Hotel was lovely and run very efficiently, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was varied and tasty. The Dive Centre was run with same efficiency and friendliness as the hotel on the down side the boat was little run down. The beach, well dont expect the carribean, this is the desert afterall, but there are plenty of sunbeds and the option to do watersports ect... The entertainment was on a par with butlins and there was little else to do in the evening. Hurghada and it seems Egypt attracts many Russian guests and this is the market they cater for. Hurghada town is about 10 mins in a taxi and the airport around 20 mins.

“we had great time”

Although we hd a great time at Hilton Long Beach resort,we had in total 15 hours delay on outbound and back to Tripoli.We find it very sad,that Egyptair just send us away with any apology or offer to give passengers vouchers. Hilton was super,very friendly people and even that hotel was quite full,you didnt see it and there was plenty of food and drinks.

“Good hotel except for a lousy beach”

There is a very good swimming pool area but there is no beach in th esense one expects. The sea front area is a sort of consolidated fine sand that is not pleasant.

“LongBeachHurghada”

The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. Service was generally excellent except on one occasion when I ordered a packed lunch and it never turned up. The food on fully inclusive was fairly mundane but there was plenty of choice. On the other hand I had a meal in the Mahaba Restaurant which was top class. Perfect service and excellent food. Generally the whole resort looks run down, a lot of the path lights are lying around broken and the gardens are full of weeds. Difficult to decide whether it is still being built or in need of refurbishment.
