“Not bad - but not great”

The people were very friendly and the facilities were great. Howeever not enough information was given regarding the surrounding areas. When dropped into town to see the shops etc, we were not directed where to go or given any sugestions on what was the best place to see. The hotel staff were amazing, and if it wasn't for individual staff members taking the time to show us the different areas, we would not have enjoyed our stay as much. The gym facilities were excellent, as were the squash courts. The room was not special in any way and the food was very boring and the same everyday. Apart from those little things, this is a nice hotel to stay in and has a wonderful beach to relax on.

“Good Hotel but Not 5 Star”

Not a 5 star hotel by English standards but comfortable and friendly and clean. All inclusive package is a must as it is isolated. Food was great and free drinks are local beers and spirits. Dive center is attached and handy. Below aqverage for a Hilton Resort but not a nightmare.

“Very good value for the price”

Stayed for 1 week at the end of November 2007. I would rate it as a very high end 3 star to borderline 4 star hotel by western standards. Pros were the friendly staff, good quality and fresh buffet food, the attractive pool area, pleasant and clean room,and the lovely gardens. The fact that activities such as the glass bottomed boat departed from the pier on the hotel grounds also make the hotel very convenient for this purpose. Returning from the desert safari excursion, other tourists yet to be dropped off at their hotels were impressed by the grounds and exterior of the hotel and said so to me. The one siginificant shortcoming is the beach which is rather small and subpar in terms of having coarse sand. Overall though I think this hotel is very good value for the price I paid and would probably be even better value in the low season. I will probably go there again and would recommend it for most tourists on a middling holiday budget.

“Enchanting view, very clean & a great staff”

The hotel staff is its biggest asset. They are wonderful, friendly & very helpful. They were doing their best at all times to please me & they were fully flexible. The hotel & the furniture are very clean. The hotel food taste isn't superb but you won't be annoyed from it. It only misses some spices. My room view was more than marvelous. It was enchanting. A view that will take your breath away. I have enjoyed my stay there very much & definitely I would go there once more.

“Hilton Plaza”

The Hilton Plaza is located a bit outside of Hurghada with its own (small) pvt beach(EGP 60 from airport by taxi).Interior well maintained,but a bit on the "80ies" side..Staff superfriendly and helpful.Buffet in main restaurant excellent.Good conditions for surfing and diving. 5 stars in Egypt, probably 3 to 4 in european terms.

“A bargain at the price - BRILLIANT staff”

We needed to get away from it and this ticked all the boxes. For those that say its run down what they mean is slightly dated (endearing though) it still has all the things you want, good beach, nice pool area, brilliant staff. Not much in the local area, but we didn't want or need that - all in all - really good.
