“Beautiful Hotel!”
My kids (ages 9 and 11)and I really enjoyed this hotel. It is beautiful and the staff are extremely helpful. We all really enjoyed the waterslides which are now open. I think minimum age on them is about 9 though. The food is great - lots of variety. The ocean is very shallow for a long ways out but you can easily go off the docks of the neighboring resorts and swim there - also beautful tropical fish that you can see even just looking down from these docks!
Three things to note: The hotel has no computers to use for internet access. I was told there was some at the next resort, but after walking there discovered the resort is not in service. Then I was told you could walk 10 minutes down the street to one, but after we found it ( a 20+ minute walk) it was closed too, and not sure if it's still in service. After complaining, a very nice employee let me borrow his personal computer but even then we had a very hard time getting access.
One more note: The kids club, which looked like fun, was only for Scandanavian children. Even though my kids would have been okay with this, they said they had to go in an English speaking "group" - but they would have been the only kids in it!
Also, although it is beautiful, if you really want to see EGYPT, I recommend staying in Cairo or Luxor as well as this is really not a taste of Egypt. Even all the people staying there are all Europeans.
