“Pleasantly surprised by the staff”

The manager was polite and greeted me with a smile. Even though I was late checking in, due to a bad snow storm, he kept the room for me and even pre-heated the room. He was great!

After the check-in problem with Expedia, everything went smoothly. The room was clean and nice. It did have a smell of cigarette smoke but it was a smoking room. The pool was nice. My family enjoyed the waffle breakfast. I will definitely stay here the next time I go to Cedar Point.

For the price, everything gets 5 stars. My husband and I stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights while visiting Cedar Point. The hotel is only 1 right-hand turn from the park and is in a quiet part of town. Immediate neighbors include a Subway, Wendy's, Arby's, a gas station, and a fantastic Mexican restaurant. Our room was spacious with a view of a golf course. The free breakfast bar was more than adequate: tea, coffee, juice, milk, cereal, bagels, toast, muffins, assorted pasteries, make-your-own waffles, and assorted fruit. The 4.5-foot deep indoor pool is a good size, and the room includes a small exercise room with large windows, so you can work out while watching your kids swim. One thing Expedia does not mention is that the hotel offers has free wireless high speed internet. If you are looking for "luxury and pampering" this is not the place. But if you seek a clean, comfortable and affordable place to crash, this is it. We are putting this hotel on our map. It is awesome for the price! Friendly staff too.

We arrvied early they let us have the key earley...the rooms where nice and clean love the place, subway, mcdonalds beds where clean and service was great. ...what a great trip....prices was great and would go back in a heart beat...great trip for all....love it

When going to Cedar Point, all I ever look for is a clean place to sleep. The Comfort Inn in Huron, OH was perfect. The rooms are new and well-kept. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. There are numerous restaurants and gas stations right near the hotel. The indoor pool and the breakfast buffet were both above average.

The Huron Comfort Inn is in a quiet part of town, literally 1 right-hand turn away from the park. Our room was clean, spacious, and overlooked a golf course. The breakfast bar was more than adequate: coffee, tea, juice, milk, hot cocoa, fruit, bagels, muffins, toast, donuts, make-your-own waffles. The indoor pool room also has a small exercise room with large windows, so you can watch your kids swim while you work out. The Mexican restaurant next door is awesome. If you want luxury, then this hotel is not for you. But if you are looking for a clean place to stay with friendly staff and a good price, we highly recommend this. We are putting this hotel on our map.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The sink is outside of the closed off bath/shower/toilet room which didn't work well for privacy within the room. The continental breakfast was good too - nothing spectacular but the kids were impressed with the freshly made waffles. Kids enjoyed the pool. Worked well for us for a 2-star hotel.
