Tight room & untrained front desk staff, new ownerPosted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: VERY PET FRIENDLY
Cons: THE FRONT DESK STAFF APPEARED TO BE NEW AND IN TRAINING BUT THEIR WAS NO TRAINING STAFF TO BAIL OUT THE NEW STAFF MEMBER.
Location: The motel was very close to the malls, restaurants and the hospital..
We stayed 4 days while my 93 year old mother was in the hospital. The motel was very close to the malls, restaurants and the hospital and not too far from the nursing home. I believe the untrained staff may have been due to the ownershjp changes. THE ROOMS WERE TIGHT but clean and quiet. We had our two pomeranians with us and had no problems. We would recommend staying here again. The room price was a good value for the area.

pleasure trip to see salt minePosted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was very nice. Room was clean and beds were awesome.
Cons: Try to cut down the noise from the pool and other area's within the hotel.
Desk clerk very friendly, Room was clean and very nice. Did not appreciate the noise that had to listen to all night long - it sounded like a motor running then wanting to shut off but couldn't and would start right back up. Room was warm until figured out we could shut off the heat running.

Pros: Even though it is a large hotel everything we needed was in the building.
Cons: The Atrium could have a sign on the door for the office check-in. Also there was no elevator to the second floor.
Location: The location was easy to find. Prices were reasonable.
The staff was friendly and experienced. They helped with extra towels as we had extra people in the room. The mattress in the room should have been replace with a new one as it had dips in it. The roll-away bed was the same. I had a hard time finding the entrance to the office to check in, walked around the building two times.

Service was good. Friendly staff. Hot tub was amazing with perfect water temp. Pool water was unbearably cold. Our children couldn't swim (which is the reason we went) due to the temperature of the water. I stepped in for maybe a minute and my legs felt numb. My daughters lips were turning purple after only a couple of minutes of her legs being in the water. Sleeping was difficult as you could hear every step on the floors above as well as a loud constant buzzing sound that sounded all through the night.

Decent hotel for the pricePosted Jan 6, 2015
Hotel is in need of updating, but it looks like that's already in process. Our room was one that had been finished already. Not a 4/5 star hotel, but I didn't expect that. I expected a 2/3 star, and that's what it is. Staff was very nice, room was clean, swimming pool is pretty cool (will be much better after renovation is complete). Only negative I can think of: Worst. Toiletpaper. Ever.

January visitPosted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms, nice breakfast, hospitable staff.
Had no problem with late arrival, staff was very friendly, even gave us adjoining rooms which helped tremendously with our situation. Water park was cold, but grandchildren enjoyed anyway. Rooms were nice and clean, staff friendly.

Cons: The bathroom quality. The toilet would hardly flush and there was hardly any counter space. The thermostats need updated to the 21st century as well.
It was ok. See the things that could be improved. The rooms need remodeled and updated.

Dated, but nicePosted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: Spacious rooms, free wifi, microwave and fridge in the room, and pet friendly
Cons: overall updating
The hotel was dated, though it looked like they were in the process of completing some updates. The rooms however were spacious and comfortable, also had a microwave, fridge and free wifi in the room which was nice. I've paid A LOT more for way worse hotels, I would stay here again for sure.
