“Best Kept Secret in Hyderabad”
This hotel is close to Hi Tec City and the University of Hyderabad, where our daughter was studying. The other nice hotels in Hyderabad were way too far away - the convenience of this luxury hotel was perfect. A few tips: - Make friends with the doorman in the fancy white turban and dress coat - he is an excellent source of info and will negotiate with cab drivers for you - Front desk personnel are also fantastic - they arranged car service for the day for us, negotiated rates for us and put it on our hotel bill - Most autorickshaw drivers negotiate rates up front. The negotiation process is an accepted part of the culture, hard to avoid it. - Spa is fabulous! well equipped gym and a lovely pool - Rooms are spacious (we had an enormous two-bedroom suite with balcony for about half the price of comparable hotels in Banjara Hills), but the kitchenettes are not full-service. Not a problem, though - the hotel has an excellent breakfast (included in the price) and dinner buffet, plus other restuarants on site.
“Decent Budget hotel for overnight stay”
Hotel was built well with good decor and associated facilities. How ever it is evident in every aspect that upkeep was ignored. Examples: annoying loud AC noise, toiletries not filled, disconnected TV cable connection, offering uncleared tabes & chairs for breakfast buffet, awkward stains on walls and curtains in dining areas etc.,
“Not a decent place to stay”
Got there middle of night and took 20 minutes to check in (Everything was reserved) . I had to stay 15 minutes so the guy can make a copy of my passport. They did not let me meet any guest after 9 PM (I had a guest coming to see me and they tell me she cannot come to my room?? WHY?) I asked for water from room service and took 1/2 to bring that water. Finally time to checkout – 15 people before me in the line (they had an IT group stay in there). There was one guy 8 AM in morning checking out everyone and my turn comes after 1 hr . and one of the IT guy from that group informed that they informed front desk about checkout a night ahead so hotel knew what was coming in morning. still they didnt have extra help . Worse part – My room was prepaid but at time of checkout they ask me the whole amount again and I had to tell them it’s prepaid and took another 10 minutes to sort out. I missed my flight
