Nice room and helpful staff. A bit of a trek up the hill with luggage. Of you call the hotel they can arrange a porter with a barrow

Worth the hike

Posted Aug 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
My husband and I had the most phenomenal time at the Angelica hotel. It was in the middle of a heat wave, and when we arrived (early) off our ship, we were greeted with ice cold water and a gorgeous (and air conditioned) room. The service was exceptional and they use Korres brand bath products. Just make sure to bring your own alarm clock if you want a wake-up call, something we decided we would want at around 5 a.m. The wifi is free with plenty of band-width and the private patio outside our room was romantic and just flat out amazing. We regret we didn't have more days to stay. We were also able to leave our luggage even after check out at the hotel until our ship sailed, enabling us to go around town a few more hours sans baggage. Oh, and they have built-in energy efficient, green things (light bulbs, asking you to turn off the hot water heater when you're done with the hot shower, A/C that only comes on if you close the windows). Book this hotel, you won't regret it. We can't wait to go visit again. Turn left at the clock tower and walk way up the hill...it's totally worth the hike!
