good hotel

Posted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: a very well run hotel
good clean hotel, right on the beach, food was great, room was large nice and clean, like being in a apartment, but a bit dated, staff was cleaning every day, all the staff was good, and a fast checking, we got to hotel at 10 pm checking took less then 5 mins, and was told take your case to your room and come back and we have some food for you, how good is that, 2 great bar's but the best one was on the beach, value for money. will be back again

Friendly staff but rooms need improving

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Pool and restaurant staff
Cons: Rooms really need improving
Location: Not a lot to do. Near a beach (with PADI diving school) but the sea was quite dirty so we walked to the next bay along which was lovely.
Pool areas were nice and cleaned daily, did get a bit busy but we managed to find sunbeds each day. We paid extra for a sea view but wouldn't bother if re-visiting as you could only really see the sea from the balconies and all balconies could see the sea. The rooms need redecorating and improving. The air conditioning didn't really work efficiently only bringing the room temperature down to 26 degrees centigrade and we had ants in the wardrobes, beds and kitchen area. Also the shower had very little water pressure and all the walls were nicotine stained. The beds were comfortable though. We were impressed with the food but had to queue for dinner as the restaurant got so busy, then it was unpleasant and felt like you were fighting for food. As I'm sure is always the case with all inclusive alcoholic drinks weren't great.

Excellent Holiday - Great Location

Club Paradise was a fantastic hotel. The staff were very very happy and helpful. The room was a good size, beds were a bit hard. All inclusive drinks and food were good, beach bar was a real bonus and an alternative to the dining room. The apartments were not too crowded, even for first week in July, entertainment team worked extremely hard. The resort was really chilled and laid back. Would definitely go back.

Welcoming good value for money and for families.

Pros: Friendly very laid back and welcoming. Child friendly.
Cons: Hard beds
Location: Very nice Location for beach and local shops nad beach.
The Hotel staff were friendly and accomodating at all times. The room was clean, spacious and tidy, however the beds were very uncomfotable which really spoilt it.The resturant food was reasnoble, the beach bar could be improved greatly by giving more variety and taking the strain of luchtime in the resturant. However, for cost of the Holiday it was very good value for money. A lovely week away.

Paradise Beach

Posted May 28, 2012
Pros: Location
Cons: No facilities for adults only
Location: Tremendous view
The location of the hotel and view from our room were spectacular. We booked not knowing that this was an all inclusive only hotel. It was geared for families looking for a budget holiday, and whilst this is understandable it skews the hotel arrangements. We ate only breakfast in the hotel which was passable but nothing special. There were no "adult" facilities such as a bar lounge. The access to our room, carying our own luggage was up two flights of stairs, two elevator rides and a long walk.

hidden gem

Paradise Beach is in an excellent location overlooking a picturesque cove with sandy beach. The all-inclusive option is great for the whole family - besides the restaurant, there is also a beach bar and a poolside bar. It is only a 10 minute walk into Portinatx itself where you will find a larger beach, a small waterpark and various shops. The resort is surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. From the Paradise Beach poolside or your balcony, the sunset is amazing. There is entertainment (a show) around the pool at 9.30pm each night and a mini disco for the younger kids at 8.30pm. There is a good choice of food in the restaurant and we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The studio apartment was spacious and very clean. The one bedroomed apartments were fully booked whilst we were there, but they are even bigger. There is a lovely atmosphere around the hotel and I would not hesitate to recommend it. Be sure to take the 3-hour mini train to the local beaches and sights. We did the Caves tour. We also enjoyed the glass-bottom boat trip and went into Es Canar for the hippy market on Wednesday although there is a smaller one on Sunday evening in Portinatx itself.
