Good hotel for the pricePosted Aug 18, 2013
Hotel Pros was cheap, rooms all had air conditioning, they were cleaned everyday and a lovely clean pool. Cons a little bit of a walk to the bars etc and rooms are basic.

Basic but adequate, great value for moneyPosted Jun 27, 2011
The place is ageing and a little run down, but everything is clean (except the pool perhaps) and the service is good. The rooms are quite basic. Don't expect a mini bar or tea and coffee. Each room does have a self contained kitchen, though. Large outdoor area with swimming pool, bar and games. The pool could do with a bit of a clean. The location is a little out of the way, but a 5-10 minute walk gets you to the beach, bars, shops and restaurants.

ok for the pricePosted Jul 14, 2010 on Hotels.com
This hotel is very basic but we didn't expect much as we hadn't paid a lot. The pool is great and there were always plenty of sunloungers. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. If you can squeeze it in your suitcase, take some hangers and a pillow! The service of the staff at the hotel is shocking, they serve you when they want to, speak little english and if there's a problem in your room don't expect it to be fixed. Our aircon didn't work and we reported it several times, but it never got fixed! The location of the hotel is quite far from san antonio though it only cost €8 each way and the receptionist will always call you a cab. There are no restaurants near the hotel and the hotel food is rubbish, the safest thing we found to eat was pizza! There is a small supermarket about 15mins walk away.

Very noisyPosted Oct 1, 2008
Far from San Antonio, really noisy,we had groups of drunk people in front of our door during the night screaming and swearing without any member of the staff taking any actions, not very clean, although the cleaning staff were doing their best. Overall, you can save some money but I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Best for valuePosted Sep 22, 2008
Stayed twice there now, its clean, its great for a budget holiday, everything you need. The only bad point i have experienced is it tends to be a very noisy hotel, so always take earplugs and dont be afraid to tell the hotel receptionist if people are being unreasonably noisy in the corridors. I would still recommend this hotel, value for money!

like to go back one timePosted Sep 9, 2008 on Hotels.com
the Hotel is in a quiet hill, bit far away from the nightlife, wich is good if you need some rest, but a bit bad if you want to go into San Antonio's heart every night. Cleanless is good. I've got only one bad memory from there. My neighbour steal my swimwear from the balcony at the 1st night :o) Surelly it's not the hotel's fault. People have to take care a bit more, to keep everything clean and tidy. Good choice!!!

Aparthotel MonterreyPosted Oct 14, 2007
For a cheap hotel it was good but I did expect more cleanliness of the room. There were marks around the hotel troom from previosu guests, like stickers on the walls, dirty bathrooms, and even a broken patio door. It's about a ten minute walk to the nearest row of bars, and a thirty minute walk to the West end bars.
