Great HotelPosted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: The all-inclusive dining experience
Cons: Internet connection in the bedrooms rather than just at reception
Location: Pleasant seafront walks. The hotel's own beach in a nice secluded cove. Easy access to St Antony either on foot, by bus or a 5 minute taxi ride(Eur6)
From our arrival, the hotel staff whether at reception, in the dining area/bar or in housekeeping were extremely helpful and pleasant. The dining experience was very good: an excellent variety of nicely presented hot and cold dishes at all mealtimes, plenty of space to move around when choosing dishes and food replenished quickly so dishes were always available without waiting. Tables were cleared promptly between courses and every time there was a change of diner, the linen tablecloths were changed. Our room, while basic, was spacious and the balcony with seating was a bonus. The only thing missing was wi-.fi in the rooms although it was available in the reception area. All the bathroom facilities were excellent. There was good afternoon and evening entertainment for all ages. All in all a very enjoyable holiday experience at Hotel Tanit which I would commend particularly to families.

very clean family hotel in scenic locationPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: Location, cleanliness
My wife and I stayed for 7 nights in Ocvtober for our anniversary. The hotel was immaculately clean (especially the rooms). The staff were friendly and tghe facilities were fine. For a 3 star family hotel we could not really fault it. The hotel is located at Cala Gracio beach which is a sandy beautiful cove with views of the bay. We booked a sea view room which was well worth the erxtra as we had a fairly large balcony overlooking the entire bay and this hotel shares the same sunset as the famous Mambo's and Cafe Del Mar which are both just a short walk along the sunset strip towardfs the town centre The hotel was a short walk either over the rocks on the shore or by the road, into the town centre and the rest of San Antonio Bay. There was alos a sea water acquarium in close vacinity to the hotel which has a bar/cafe and the fish are held in natural caves on the shoreline - quite interesting. A taxi into the west end cost 6 euros from the hotel.

All-inclusive, no warm welcomePosted Jun 12, 2011 on Hotels.com
I stayed at the Fiesta Tanit hotel in San Antonio, Ibiza for just over 6 days, five nights. Whilst I had to book a hotel quite quickly as I was visiting my friend. The previous reviews were quite appealing for the hotel, so I decided to book. However I wasn't really fussed about taking up the whole 'all inclusive' experience, as I was more interested in seeing my friend. Upon arriving at the hotel the hotel Reception staff were not overly friendly and considering I have not been to an 'all inclusive' resort really did not give me much information about the hotel and about using the wrist bands. The room I stayed in was clean, but the bed was extremely hard. Whilst the room was modern, it was very basic. I had to pay 10 euro's to hire the remote control for the 6 days, which I found very strange. I would like to know who in their right mind would want to steal a tiny, old fashioned TV. I found it a bit a bit petty. There was also other hidden costs for example in the form of the safety deposit box. I did want to use the safety deposit box in the room, which are usually located in the wardrobe. However when I found out I had to pay a fee of 3.95 a day plus a deposit of 6 Euros, I changed my mind. I calculated the whole fee and it would of cost me 23.70 for the 6 days. I don't think I should have to pay to keep my money and passports safely in the room. I found a cupboard in the room under the TV that had a key and I took the key out with everywhere. I would suggest doing that, as that is a bit ridiculous. The food at the hotel was very nice on some days, but mostly was like eating "school dinners". I suppose with the amount of people attending the hotel, they try and cut back on the best produce for the meals. Overall I did not make full use of the 'all inclusive" features of the hotel. I would say if you have a large family and don't mind having to pay on extra's for things, then go ahead and book. The pools were really nice, but to me the room features and these extra's are very important to me.

Not returningPosted Jun 25, 2010
It sounded like someone was constantly rearranging furniture. It was hard to sleep. The room temperature changed to much even when it was set the same. Anyone in the hall or a side room could be hear, it was hard to relax on vacation.
