“Great Experience”

This is a great boutique hotel. We had a loft room which was actually on a lower level. Perfect for 2 or 3 people. Fully equiped kitchen. Large bathroom with whirlpool tub. The pictures do not reflect that one entire side of the very large suite was all glass windows looking out to the jungle. Below our balcony was a small stream with a waterfall just outside our room. Wonderful relaxing sound at night with the windows open or on the beautiful balcony. European breakfast was very good -- no eggs -- but plenty of other very delicious food. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. They do have a dinner service -- grilled meats, fish and vegetables. It is a little far from the center of town to walk, but we had a car and it was no problem. Some ads for this hotel say no guests under 18 -- check with them, but this probably means that the responsible adult renting the room must be over 18. The large rooms sleep a large number of people and we saw several families with children under 18. Again, check to make sure about this if it is a concern. All in all we loved this hotel and would stay again if we get back to Puerto Iguazu.

“Recommend this lodge”

You stay in a lodge which is like an apartment with balconies. The rooms are comfortable with excellent beds and lots of closet space (although you do not need it). The swimming pool is big and welcoming after a day at the falls. The attention at the front desk and from the tour operator were excellent. The only thing not working at this hotel is the restaurant, it is totally outdated. We were told that the chef had worked in Spain and Italy, presumably not in the food business since the food totally lacked taste and texture. The hotel has a good location since you can walk into Iguazu town where you find several good restaurants and bars.

“Great Honeymoon Location”

After taking an 18 hour bus ride from Buenos Aires, my wife and I walked from the bus terminal to the hotel (about a 10 minute walk) and were greeted with freshly squeezed orange juice and given a room upgrade. The room was spotless, the staff was helpful and it felt like were at a beautiful resort. Well worth the money and staying in Puerto Iguazu (instead of the Sheraton) allowed us to explore the town and eat at the shops (The 30 minute bus ride to the National park was cheap and convenient). Breakfast was delicious! My wife and I were very happy with our to stay at the Lodge...

“Awesome experience!”

I usually don't take the time to write reviews, however, I feel inclined to write a quick note after the awesome experience of staying at the Iguazu Jungle Lodge. We were greeted with a super pleasant and helpful staff. The hotel was immaculately clean. The room was large, 2 balconies (1 very large) overlooking the stream, kitchen, separate bedroom, living area, etc. The breakfast was nice and light but filling enough for us. The proximity to Puerto Iguazu was excellent. A short taxi ride or a 15-20 minute walk. We felt safe in walking. The wifi in the room was very strong. This hotel was a refreshing change from the large commercial hotels. Overall we had an awesome experience. The only downside was we wanted to stay longer!

“a great place to stay and relax”

Fantastic hotel. We stayed for 3 nights in a Loft Room. Huge! It has two beds: a king size and a twin size. Furniture is of a traditional style. The room has a kitchen. We did not use it. The terrace was large and facing jungle with a creek. Very pleasant and the sound of a creek so relaxing. Definitely a nice room. This is more like a colony with houses. The outdoor pool is just great. Perfect for the families with kids as it is not too deep, huge size. It is right next to the restaurant so you can order while in the pool. And waiters will be happy to wait on you. Restaurant itself is nice and the food is well cooked and presented in a stylish way. Nice! The hotel staff was very friendly and willing to help you. All in all, a very nice hotel. We will definitely recomend it.

“the best iguazu hotel!”

very good hotel and service, highly recommended, plus this Jungle lodge is part of the Jungle tour family, hence it is very easy to book the tour and charge to the room. the restaurant food is very nice, a little bit expensive compare to local restaurant but it's definitely fine dining! the Empanatas is one of the best in Argentina! rooms are very clean and staff is very nice and speak very well English! i've been to Iguazu 3 times, and stay in different hotel, but this one is the one i've highly recommended

“Superb and quiet”

Superb family unit with 2 bedrooms and balconies right in the selva ! Internet access not too strong in the unit, but OK in the restaurant. Restaurant was excellent for breakfast and although not a very elaborate menu, the food was good for diner. Construction was going on in the swimming pool and restaurant area, so the place was not quiet as it could be.

“Comfortable Lodge”

We stayed two nights. The units were very spacious, modern and clean. They back onto jungle with the Iguazu river far below and have large balconies. the Lodge has a beautiful pool area, large and clean. The breakfasts are good and evening dinner is available. The Lodge is located on the outskirts of town, but this was not a problem as we had rented a car. Car rental worked very well for getting to the National Park and Town.

“Comfort in the Jungle”

Very attractive hotel in a quiet location on the edge of Puerto Iguazu town, only a few blocks walk from the town centre (condition of the roads could be better, but this is not the hotel's fault). Hotel cabins all back onto the jungle and a small stream, but the windows have screens to keep out insects - very important at night. Rooms are airconditioned and comfortable inside, although not all bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, so we had to share one bathroom between two rooms in the Family suite. Swimming pool and gardens are lovely. Restaurant is quite good and food ok, although service was sometimes a bit slow at breakfast - some staff know what they are doing, others need a bit more training in checking that everything is there in the breakfast buffet! Reception staff are very helpful and will organise trips to the falls if required, although we found that the taxi driver who brought us from the airport would do the same trips for a cheaper price. Some steps and slopes to climb in hotel room and gardens. Overall a very good hotel at a reasonable price.
