Great location but the hotel needs updating

Posted Mar 26, 2015
The location of this hotel is great direct access to the park. It has a nice outdoor and pool area. For the price however I expected more the rooms were small and very old and in need of an update. The food was ok but also here I'd expected more for price and being a 5*. Overall great location but not worth the price

Location, location, location

Posted Mar 6, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Service, hotel shuttle, have designated children section of pool, use of therapy pool for hot tub at night (complimentary instead of charge)
Location: Great location
It took 8 emails to secure a taxi from airport to the hotel...for a " resort hotel" they do not have a shuttle and the hotel concierge was not helpful only forwarding my email on to a tour agency that i had to contact and....anyway it was a hastle and they need an airport shuttle. Also, for a "resort" hotel many of the staff have difficulty with English. Only 2 English TV stations and night and only CNN in Spanish. I spoke to the manager and he said "we're working on it" I had to call for robes and extra blanket ( not provided in room)....bathroom small and cramped and bathroom product not luxury calibre.

Great location, shame about the rooms

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: Location!!!
Cons: See previous comments.
Location: One thing only. The Falls! Magnificently!
Absolutely great location, but bathroom spoiled the experience. Television had only 2 English channels and then not great. Staff were good, helpful and courteous. Lobby Internet in this day and age is not good enough. It should be free throughout hotel considering price paid.. Shuttle bus would go a long way to helping tourists decide on this hotel.

Well?

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Location is superb.
Cons: Treatment of their customers.
Location: Great hiking in the vicinity.
Booked for and paid for 3 nights. On arrival, we were told that they did not have a room available for the first night and that they had rebooked us in a room at a 5-star hotel in Pueblo Iguazu with a free transfer for the 30 minute ride back into town! We told them to think again. After a 30 minute "stand-off", an available room materialised. Why would they try this on?

Location, location, location

Pros: Great location, the view is unbeatable, hotel comfortable, good bar, nice pool, you're on-site.
Cons: Some free water would be nice (other than that provided for tooth brushing).
Location: Get on the trails early - 0800, and you'll have them to yourself before the coaches arrive.
The first thing that strikes you is the view through the reception - stunning, over the falls. This is the only hotel in the park and staying here will save you travel time and money. No one tells you it costs 260 pesos to get into the park (each), with a reduction on subsequent days. Staying in Puerto Iguazu will also cost about 250 each way, so... The hotel is fine and conformable with a lovely bar serving good food as an alternative to the restaurant. It's in a prime spot and some of the process reflect this. I confess that nearly 4 USD (at govt rates) for a small bottle of water is ridiculous when it's so hot, and there is no alternative. Also being charged to use the telescope on the roof when you have spent a bunch on room etc is rather unnecessary. Also, I asked of they would buy some USD I exchange for pesos at reception. They said "of course" at a rate of 7.8 pesos. Even less than the ridiculous official rate. It's a really nice hotel, and if you can afford a falls-view room, get it - The view from the back is pants. I know that it's a captive market and unique spot, but I felt as if I was being nickel-and-dimed, as they say in the US.

Absolut tolle Lage

Posted Feb 2, 2015
Da das Hotel diese absolut besondere Lage hat werden keine besonderen Anstalten mehr gemacht den Service und alles weitere zu verbessern. Das Hotel ist renovierungsbedürftig und Preisleistung erklärt sich nur Aus der Lage.

appear to be closest to the falls.

Posted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Stayed one day. Prefer to see breakfast hours increased to allow people to go to falls early in the morning. Suggest hotel to provide good info.
Location: The sightseeing info. should be improved.
Got a chance to see falls from the recommended path/s. Suggest more guidance in selection of time and better train stop info.

too old hotel

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: the position in front of the waterfall
Cons: see above
the hotel (and all facilities and amenities) needs to be renovated, staff needs to be more ready to help customers (who are paying a lot of money for staying there)

Un immeritato paradiso

Posted Jan 10, 2015
