Enjoyable jungle stayPosted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: The setting and the serving staff
Cons: The door to our bathroom was noisy
Location: Located away from town and activities but a great place to relax
We enjoyed our time at Sol Cataratas and wish we had stayed longer. The jungle setting provided atmosphere and we found the restaurant on site provided good meals and enjoyed our interaction with the serving staff (despite our lack of Spanish). The hotel was a base for us and we were picked up and dropped off on the tours we did though a walk into town isn't excessive and neither were taxi's if required. The hotel was clean and while we didn't manage to use the pool it appeared inviting. Our only negative was a noisy door to our ensuite

Hidden Gem - Amazing StaffPosted Apr 19, 2011
Its set a 15 min walk from "downtown" Iguazu. In a quiet jungle setting. The rooms are basic, but have everything you need. Safe, TV, Airconditioning, clean room, great pool area, and amazing service. The staff was trilingual (french, english, spanish), and very accomodating. Keep in mind this is a hotel in a small town in argentina. If you want a piece of Argentina, while still getting all the basics to be comfortable, then this is the place for you. Incredible value for the price!
