At check in there was only one person having to deal with all requests. After 20 mins I got my room key. Room was nice and clean and bed comfortable. Shower has a plastic curtain though and the water pressure was very weak. Hotel is close to the airport, but does not offer a schüttle service nor allow you to pay with an international CC so the hotel can pay the taxi driver. So make sure to have cash with you or load the Uber app onto your phone. Personally I was not impressed and would prefer a menu to choose western food.

Fabulous
This is not my first time staying at welcome, i've been using this place as of 2017, and i have no issues or complan. However, they need to work on their wifi/internet issues, other than that, i'm pleased. I know most of their workers, very friendly and helpful.

Great stay at Welcome Centre & Hotels. Great value
A good, clean and very welcoming Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant food offering was also very good. Location was excellent and transportation easy to find. The only area of improvement is with the WiFi service. The availability of continuous WiFi service (that have working internet connection) needs to be improved.

My stay at the Welcome Center Hotel was Fantastic. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast, which was inclusive, was very tasty. I initially booked for one night, but because of the comfort of the hotel I had to book three more nights. The Welcome Center Hotel is highly Recommended.

The service is top notch. This is my "go to" hotel in Lagos. The location to the airport is perfect. The staff and service outstanding. The food is good as well. Internet is a little slow. Disappointed that the pool wasnt functional and it wasnt noted on the website. I swim, i wanted a pool. To me it was kind of important. The water was good at the hotel. Hot water for bathing. Very clean. Would have liked if the room would have been stocked with at least 2 towels, 2 hand towels and 2 face wash clothes. Still all in all. Very well done. I wish i would have been there when everything was open and functioning. It must have been beautiful abd very grand. Hopefully someday it will be again full of life, laughter music and fun.

This is a big property and with slightly dated amenities but yet comfortable. Proximity to the MM airport is 10-15 minutes and location is great.The rooms are large/huge and comfy. We stayed in the Presidential suite on the top floor. There a few fixes / updates that needed to be made when we stayed there. Breakfast service (free for 1 or 2 people) was quiet decent. I will recommend it as a very good 3.5 star hotel.

Dear Sir and Madam, thanks for your feedback. I would like to point out that your feedback was from a booking from almost 3 months ago. Welcome Centre Hotels is open for bookings. Please accept our sincere apologies that we were not able to accommodate you at Welcome Centre Hotels at that time. We were not able to accommodate you as planned due to contractors working on detailed hotel renovations missing their deadlines. Despite our best efforts, we could not in good conscience have guests staying there whilst noisy work was going on. We were able to accommodate you at our sister hotel across the street from Welcome Centre. Our sister hotel is rated 'very good' on this same booking channel and we did upgrade your room due to the inconvenience. Nonetheless we apologise for any and all inconvenience. Our renovations have been completed and we are now open to bookings from the public. Many thanks

The welcome centre hotel is close for service, i was redirect to thier sister motel ( StopOver Motel) When i got there my name was not under Hotels.com the receptionist refused to check me in, so lucky the boss wqs around he check my confirmation and ask him to check me in.

This is one of the worst hotels in the world. The staffs were rude and disrespectful. There was a severe question of security concern as the door was not locking from the inside. We were concerned about our safety, as such we called the front desk to let them know and they promise to send somebody to check it out. When the porter came, he was extremely disrespectful, disregarded our concern; he actually complained that in our attempt to forcefully help secure the back door lock, we were creating a loud noise. He argued with us and would not even let us talk and was extremely disrespectful and condescending towards my wife. He wanted us to just accept the room without a secure lock and without questioning. After some argument, he left, saying that there will be somebody coming to change the room. Nobody came, and nobody called us to reassure us. I had to wedge the door with two chairs to secure the back door lock as I was terrified for our safety. The toilet was dirty, there were no towels, the light kept going off and the place was generally smelly. The room was old, and the chairs were old, and the room smell musty. Due to the door situation and added to the fact that the bedsheet was itchy, I had to sleep on the chair throughout night. I was extremely disappointed with this hotel

Dislikes: Receptionists had an attitude on my arrival and couldn't be bothered to collate their papers in due time before my arrival and engaged me in a pointless waste of time, the amenities in the room were run down and there were frequent electricity cuts albeit it was restored within minutes, the hotel foods were exaggeratedly expensive for their worth.

Staff were nice & very pleasant. However, the property is poorly maintained. Despite daily room service, if you don't want to get malaria or an infection, clean every surface & the floors with concentrated Dethol antiseptic. No dilution. Still, bathroom will ooze of urine stench even after all the cleaning & constant flushing. Must have a mosquito repellent cream, netting & spray to survive. Before you eat or drink anything, wash hands & sanitize with hand sanitizer. Consider bathing with Dethol in your water plus an antibacterial soap say Dial antibacterial. It's that bad. By day 2, my nine year old niece was vomiting despite my cleaning efforts. Don't eat from or touch the refrigerator without thoroughly cleaning with an antiseptic. I'm a clinical pharmacist. I know my beans. The light comes on & goes but good thing is it doesn't last long to return. Breakfast isn't good enough for non picky eaters. Overall, you could manage. If you are picky, you wont.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Welcome Centre Hotels. The check-in was quick and simple, the staff very professional, pleasant and helpful. We made good use of their swimming pool and gym. My wife loved their breakfast, not so much me. The security is good and access now much better since the roads to the International Airport have been fully tarred. We have used the Welcome Centre Hotels and will definitely use it again. Very highly recommended.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Welcome Centre Hotels. It was a short distance away from the International Airport and the reception staff made our check-in as easy, smooth and pleasant as possible. We enjoyed the gym and swimming pool facilities. I have in the past used this same Welcome Centre Hotels when my younger sibling from the United States and I visited Nigeria. Very enjoyable stay and I will definitely use this hotel again.

Property: Nice lobby and eating area; but, the room itself is outdated. I can't speak for all rooms because I didn't see the inside of other rooms. My room, standard room, needs a major renovation - especially the bathroom. Amenities: The wifi is the only amenity that I utilized. It worked great. The only annoying thing was having to log in like every hour. That is bad because if you rely on data, like I did, you will miss your What's App (or whichever app you use) calls and texts if you're asleep or don't check to see if you're logged on. Food Breakfast is included. Lunch and dinner is NOT. My complaint about this is that I had to pay for breakfast my first day. They charge 4500N for their food; which is about $12.48 USD. It's not a bad price for non stop eating, and good food. However, eating out is far cheaper. Staff: I saw previous reviews. A couple of them complained about the staff. My experience was totally different. The staff was great! From the desk workers to the gate guards - all great. Safety The guards do a great job keeping the hotel safe 24/7. The gates are always locked, every vehicle must go through the gate. If you arrive late at night, there's a 2nd set of gates that prevents access to the lobby doors. Also, when your visitor comes, the person at the desk calls up to your room to ensure they can come up or if they can leave when it's time. Recommendation: Please put iron in the rooms. It's annoying calling housekeeping every time you need to iron.

Please be advised that Breakfast in our restuarant is complimentary and runs from 6.30am to 10.00am. Its only breakfast orders outside that time frame that incur charges. The hotel rooms will soon enjoy a mini renovation ie spruce of paint and new TVs and furniture. This will happen this month.
