Not as good as some reviews imply.

The location is pretty food but we found the room to be cramped and quite loud. The walls are paper thin. The desk staff is neither helpful nor rude. They just don't seem to care either way. Breakfast was pretty good. You could get eggs made to order and selections were plentiful. There was a safe in the room but it was only large enough to put passports in. Wifi is horrible in the rooms so be prepared to stand in the hall or go down to the lobby if you want to connect. Not worth the price.

Pros: See above
Location: The pousada is located in the heart of the historic district - close to the best shops and restaurants.
My husband and I loved our stay at Pousada do Sandi. The property is beautifully decorated and the wonderful 300 year old architecture is something to behold. Our room was well appointed and very well maintained with a modern bathroom. The staff was extremely helpful for all of our needs. The included breakfast offered everything you could imagine - fresh fruits and juices, eggs, cheese, meats, cereals and many delicious pastries. We were there for 5 days and each day there were a couple of unique items. The grounds were lovely and the restaurant was top notch. I can't say enough good things about our experience at this charming old pousada.

The pousada is in a great location, fill with charm and caracter, but is a little old needing a remodel. great place and great people. don't count with the internet connection is too slow. the breakfast was wonderful.
