Beautiful Olympia
Friendly staff, room and bathroom were very clean. As with many older hotels, shower over bath, which we find a bit difficult to manage as older travellers. We didn’t have the optional €7 breakfast so unable to comment. We were able to check in early which was a bonus, and leave our bags for a few hours after check out. Close to bus stop. Only issue was pillows were uncomfortable.

Hello, thanks for your comments. Our optional buffet breakfast of 7 contains 22 products. Outdoors is shops, you paid more 7 for a coffee and a cookie

Centrally located, friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable rooms with everything you need. Parking was great as well. A bit dated but again great for a quick stay. Breakfast was a good bargain and just what you need before starting your day.

Just a perfect spot to spend the night in anticipation of an early morning visit to the sites. Friendly and generous reception with immediate advice on dining and making the most of a day in Olympia. Quiet, clean, cool room. Great parking and easy access to everything. Travelling with wife and two adult daughters.

Management was one of nicest we experienced on our trip. Parking was on the premise, under orange trees no less. The archeological site was within walking distance (3 minutes). The recommended restaurant had great food. Our family (with two rooms) was very happy.

Nice, comfortable hotel. Decent breakfast. Great service from the front desk regarding the archeological sites, places to eat. Also, Very near Magna Grecia,, an agriturismo, for olive oil production and wine tours.

Pros: The hotel is nice and very helpful. He even provide tourist apps and TV shows. Cons: The hotel is not as nice as in the hotel pictures. The hotel is 3* hotel and the pictures match it. The hotel is clean, but with cheap remodeling, bedding, and furnishing, similar to motel 6. The breakfast is very basic, not recommended if you need to pay for it.

Comfortable hotel in the town of Ancient Olympia within walking distance to the archeological site and the museum. The proprietor is friendly and gracious. He loaned us a book about the archeological site to use while we were there. Breakfast was good and the room comfortable.

Approaching the historic site of Olympia and the market where cafe, restaurants and shops for souvenirs are easily located apart from a supermarket so that bottle waters, snacks and ice-creams can also be bought. A bus station is nearby by crossing the main road and a stop is set up. You can take a bus to the Central Bus Station in Pyrgos connecting to the major cities such as Athens.

They were very helpful and friendly as soon as we arrived, they gave us a map of the sites and there was an informative video about Olympia on the TV in the rooms. The rooms were clean and functional, with no light at all coming in from outside at night or in the morning due to the shutter/doors. The breakfast was very good, and it was really easy to park in their car park, which is just behind the hotel under some orange trees.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy right next to the hotel. The hotel is super close to everything, and all museums and sites are within a 10-15 minute walk. The room was simple but comfortable, clean, and spacious, and we had a nice little balcony that we did not get to use since it was quite hot outside!

Great time in Ancient Olympia! Many thanks to the family of Kronio hotel for their excellent service. Very nice family, good breakfast, clean facilities, all around nice time. I would recommend staying at least 2 nights for plenty of time to relax and site see. I will definitely return again when I have the chance.

The hotel is located very close to the olympia ruins, and close to restaurants and shops. Yet it is quiet. Its about 10 minutes to the ruins. The family room is decent size, and there are 2 bathrooms. Great breakfast! The owners (family) is extremely helpful, and friendly. Highly recommend.

Comfortable, homey place. Excellent location within steps of main sites and restaurants. Wonderful service. At check-in, we were provided a map of the area and an itinerary for our following day to see the sites. They also have a one hour video to explain the historical importance of the area that plays when you turn on the tv.
