“Excellent choice for enjoying all on offer in Wollongong”

A very nice hotel located almost directly on North Beach within walking distances of restaurants and both beaches and harbor. Very good sized and well appointed rooms. Pool not the largest but adequate if the beach doesn't appeal! Facilities very good although I didn't eat in due to the multitude of nearby restaurants. Does well in providing both a formal top-end hotel atmosphere with informality required of an Australian beach location

“Fantastic Location in the Gong”

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Northbeach Novotel. A friends wedding took place just up the road by the lagoon in the nearby park and the Novotel was the perfect location for us to stay. The room was lovely and clean. We found that the kettle in the room did not work but a call to housekeeping quickly resolved the problem. Location is great, we took a 30 min drive down to Kiama for breakfast, although there are lots of lovely cafes in the streets surrounding the hotel with gorgeous ocean views.

“Great Hotel with Superb Service”

A great hotel with great facilities in a superb location but the greatest asset was the staff. They were fantastic in going above and beyond to make our one night stay a pleasure from the early check in to the gift for our two boys ages 7 and 5.

“Novotel at the Gong”

Can recommend the Novotel at the Gong. Clean and modern. Great view overlooking North Beach, and very friendly and helpful staff. Only a few faults. 1) Pool not heated as advertised. 2) Room not available at check in time. 3) Restaurant very expensive. 4) Accomodation a little expensive for just one night.

“Just as good but cheaper hotels in the area”

Glad I booked through Expedia, other friends who booked direct paid much more, they paid rack rate I paid Expedia special rate. It is an average hotel, but expensive for what you get. Breakfast on the Monday morning was not worth to money.
