Lovely hotelPosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: The rooms were clean and really nicely decorated and loved the walk in shower.
I was truely pleased when I walked in to this hotel, it looks new and clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is great for travellers, it is next to the train station and only a 10-15 minute walk to the boat and main walls of St Malo. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definately stay there again.

Poor customer service room not as describedPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Arrived late evening to be given a rude welcome by reception eventually provided room to find not as described and not drinks facilities. Quite a simple aspect of kettle coffee and tea. Wouldn't have bothered usually but after a 12 hr journey due to road delays went to reception to request as per the in room pamphlet ' just ask as reception'. Reception advised they had no trays / kettles left, advised their paperwork didn't detail it and offer coffee/ tea from bar at a charge. After some discussion, debate and loud shouting by reception I got them to contact the manager off site and hey eventually found a empty room with a spare tea & coffee tray. I couldn't be bothered to argue my other points with reception against the room I had booked and have since write a letter of complaint. The room was nice but customer service very very poor.

Great new hotelPosted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: Great room
Location: A 15 minute walk to the old town
This is a very modern clean hotel. We were given a room with a patio to sit out on at the rear of the hotel - for no extra cost - very nice. It is about a 15 minute walk into the old town - the area feels safe - in fact you walk past the police station on your way to the old town. There is some free on-street car parking along one side of the hotel. There is some building work at the front at the moment - so you may be better asking for a room at the rear.
