“Close to Everything Yet Far from the Madding Crowd”

The Best Western Hotel Balmoral is a brand new, fully modern hotel just outside the ancient ramparts of St.-Malo in Brittany. Our room was large and comfortable with a spacious modern bathroom. The hotel's location couldn't be more convenient to travelers coming by car as it's close enough to the old walled city to reach on foot but far enough to be free from traffic and congestion. It's perfect for couples, families with children, older travelers, long stays or short ones. I highly recommend it.

“Brand new hotel!!”

Brand new room...could have even been the first person to stay in the room. Pristine condition, and high quality of all fittings...not the closest hotel to the old town, but it's only a 15minute walk, or a 3 minute cab - but for the price, the quality couldn't be beaten...

Excellent in one word. First off, brand new hotel. Room was super clean. The room was a little cosy but was very very comfortable fo me and my wife. The bath room had excellent fixtures and was extremely clean. There was a nice closet to hang in our clothes, shoes etc... The best part, it was just a hop and skip from the TGV station. It is literally across from the station may be like 300 m This was the only reason, we were able to make it to the train station on time. Dont misread that there will be noise from the station. NONE. It is farther away for noise but close enough for access. The main gate of the walled city is about 10 minute walk. Not bad. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Will stay there is a heart beat again. My wife compared it to a 5star hotel that we stayed a couple of days later.

upon arrival we were told, sorry we have np trollies as the hotel is new and had to haul our luggage upstairs. New hotel but internet did not work and TV had no channels even though it was a lovely TV. Very poor attention to detail and sloppy
