The Oceania is well placed for visiting the area.Posted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: The breakfast area was very good and offered one a pretty decent selection of food.
Cons: My initial reaction to the hotel not offering a restaurant was offset by the knowledge that inside the city walls there were several decent eateries.
Location: The hotels location to the old city with its restaurants and the ferry port are a feature. I used to sail-race into St. Malo annually from '75 - '84.
We greatly enjoyed the Oceania's proximity to both the walled city of St. Malo and to the ferry port. Being able to park underneath the hotel was also a major bonus point, although in high season reserving a parking spot may be tough especially as my car isn't small?

A pleasant hotel, a short 5 min walk to the ramparts/old town/restaurants of St Malo. Overlooks the sea. Good breakfast.

Nice hotel well locatedPosted Aug 25, 2013
We liked this hotel although there was no parking available the first two days and the aprking is small and tight! Breakfast was just OK for the price they charge. Hotel is well maintained and very clean. Rooms are small but this is how it is in Europe.

Excellent stop-over before ferryPosted Jul 30, 2013
Pros: Clean, near to the town, friendly.
We have used this hotel twice now, on the way back from a holiday in France. It is clean, pleasant and the staff are very helpful. NB: breakfast is not a bargain - #15 a person, though the kids are not charged for. Also, its #15 for the hotel's private underground carpark, but there are plenty of open air ones nearby (dont know price, we used hotel). Hotel parking is on a first come first served basis.

Fantastic hotel in a great locationPosted Jul 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
We recently stayed at the Oceania. It is beautifully situated on the beach front, just 5 mins walk from the walled town of St Malo. We found the hotel very clean & modern, & the staff were very helpful & friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a break away.

Realy good location and very well presented.Posted Jul 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
We really liked the hotel it was a shame that it was only a one night stop on the way to jersey island. Will certainly stay there again on our next European trip.

Fantastic ViewPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great hotel, we did spend 80 Euros a day to upgrade to a sea view as the Tour de France was passing below our balcony, so our room was not cheap, however it was very good and large enough to have a spare single bed in it, the rear rooms looked okay, but not as large. Location is very good - 300 yards from the walled town. The view was fantastic, but note that the sea view rooms face north so not much sun light in the day
