Excellent - clean, good staff, efficiently run, and a short walking distance from a tram stop.

Ok Hotel on the outskirts of StrasbourgPosted Aug 21, 2013
Large hotel, on the outskirts of Strasbourg. The rooms we had were well furnished and clean. The hotels general decor was themed in a Hollywood style . I think they need to get a new interior desighner. It was nasty.... The breakfast was expensive and not worth the money. The bar bill was extortionate. 20 euros for 4 drinks , 3 of them were cokes. The hotel had a nightclub that kept us awake at night . Lots of car doors being banged and talking at 4 in the morning. This hotel is also well used by coach parties, that arrive in the evening and leave again early the next morning. The reason we choose this hotel was the free car parking and quite location and it did live up to those expectations.

Birthday visitPosted Jan 5, 2013
The hotel staff is helpful, however I found it strange that they turn your wifi off at 4 am before you even check out. That aside the room was fine. Don't even waste your money on the restaurant the dinner is crap. The breakfast was passable if you are not a big breakfast person like myself. My husband who loves a good omelette was displeased but took it like a champ. I can only say its France so be prepared to eat like the locals. I recommend the hotel if you want somewhere quiet to stay but stay away from their restaurant. It's a 10 min or less walk to McDonald's go there instead.

not one for leisure travel for sure...Posted Sep 24, 2012 on Hotels.com
Convenient location just off the motorway - but on a college campus/business park. We arrived earlier than expected and there was nowhere to have a pleasant walk after a long drive. The staff on reception and bar were casual to the point of rudeness, obviously badly trained. The breakfast buffet was ok - but there is no excuse for dry tasteless croissants in France -- and the stickness of the floor was off-putting. There was a breakfast tray on the floor near the lift on our floor when we arrived and it was still there when we went to breakfast at 8am. In general cleanliness could have been improved. Our room was poor - a cupboard door in front of the minibar hanging off one hinge, there was no milk with the coffee making facilities (we did ask for some but it never arrived), only 1 extra pillow in the wardrobe. Overall impression was that it was staffed by students from the local hospitality college and there was a lack of management control. We wouldn't go back

Easy parkingPosted Sep 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
The location allows easy driving to wine route. Five minute walk to tram to go to centre of Strasbourg, so no problem with finding car parks and driving in city. Restaurant has limited menu.

The hotel is difficult to find, and you have to drive through a very narrow entrance to enter the Industrial area where it is situated,When asked why this was so we were told by the receptionist "It's because of gypsies in the area".The tv in the room didn't work and at 8.0am we went for breakfast and there was very little choice left, and we were told there was no more food coming. The room was not very clean and there was bits on the floor carpet and the room was just so drab and dreary,The staff at Reception were very polite and helpful.
Not up to Holiday Inn standardPosted Aug 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
Usually stay at the Mulhouse Holiday Inn which is exceptional. The Strasbourg hotel badly needs updating in all rooms. The dark wood furniture in our room was broken and the bathroom was small. Shower is in the bath, not seperate as you would expect with a four star hotel. The white basin was stained yellow. The restaurant is just a grill and the choice and quality of the food was poor. As this is in an industrial sector unless you are willing to drive out there is no other choice around to eat. Not recommended - drive the extra hour and go to Mulhouse.

Great Hotel If You Love To WalkPosted Jul 13, 2012
Pros: The Staff, HD TV's, and Lobby Area.
Cons: It is too far from the city.
Location: It is in Ilkirch which is a 15 minute tram ride to the Centre Ville.
I loved the staff at this hotel and it was reasonably priced fo being a four star hotel. The down side is that it is a fifteen minute tram ride to the city and a fifteen minute walk to the tram. The hotel does not offer shuttle service to the tram so prepare to get your walk on.
