Excellent hotel

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Everything, clean comfortable friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Strasbourg centre, shopping, boat trips
We stayed here as it said it was out of the town, and it was. We did ask at reception how to get into the centre, she told us the number 66 bus, but what she didn't tell us was that we then had to catch the tram as well. Once we had worked it out we were ok. The hotel itself was excellent, very clean, we were in the new extension and the room was fantastic.

Good for the quiet life

The hotel is nice, it's in a nice, very quiet, town. It's about a 10-15 min walk from the tram to take you into strasbourg. No kettle in the room (but this is france), but you get some water. Slight niggle in that they kept shutting the bar early. However, for some reason my euro adapter wouldn't work and the manager lent me another, which was very nice. Breakfast was as you expect from this star hotel.

Room was comfortable and clean. Nice breakfast in the morning. We didn't stay long (just passing through), so no comment on the surrounding area. A little confusing to find because we took the wrong exit off the freeway. Would have been nice to have directions on the Expedia site.
