“Simple and nice”

I only stayed one night - not even 24 hours. Basic amenities were to my satisfaction. The air conditioner (which was necessary!) was on the loud side, but I'd rather put up with that than suffer through the heat at night in that locale. One thing that made an impression on me was the breakfast. Although Continental, I remember that the milk I used on my cereal was refreshingly super cold! The staff have notes that the milk (& juice) "can be found in the refrigerator and please return it to the refrigerator after using" for a reason! The Imperial Valley area is so hot that it's a good idea to refrigerate the milk constantly. And it was so wonderful and delicious when really cold! I am a person with simple tastes and simple needs! :-)

“chosen for convenience to airport”

Was disappointed in that my reservation read: 1 single - room with 2 queen beds - which would have put me next door to family I was travelling with. Upon check in was told that all singles were on the other side of building and had one king size bed...which was OK - Would have preferred to be next to family so we could visit a bit. Floor lamp bulb, hair drier not working. Bed clean and comfortable, alarm clock was working...overall satisfactory. . Dining facilites a fair hike from hotel. Child said pool was not warm, I did not check.

“Old, noisy and poorly maintained”

This place was forgotten by time. Right next to the air strip, I could hear the helicopters whirring until 11pm. The rooms are old but clean. Internet service was very slow. It's a very cheap motel but there are lots of better options in El Centro.

“Old and Dirty.”

Upon entering our room, we found that the maid had not yet put the pillow cases on two of the pillows. The pillows were old and greasy, beyond belief. It was a smoking room that was all yellowed from smoke. The furniture was ancient. For the price, this was a very bad value. We checked out immediately and stayed elsewhere.
