could have been betterPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: cleanliness and comfortable bed.
Cons: personnel should be friendlyer
Location: the location is in a two street town and nothing but a McDonald is close.
The clerk was unkempt with shirt tail hanging out that obviously had been tucked in at some point in day. Although our room was prebooked he acted as if he was being bothered by our late arrival. The Motel was difficult to find. The smell of the room was an overpowering sweet smell. The room was very clean and bed very nice. The cost was bad as it was one of two hotels in town in the middle of nowhere. I booked it on a secret super deal. Sorry it was not worth a super deal so I will not trust that part again. Their breakfast was good. Had several choices that were healthy. The clerk at desk on check out did not stand up to take keys and barly looked up from her personal phone to acknowledge me.

Very acceptable hotel in a delightful small townPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: Location, comfort, desk clerk, breakfast.
Cons: The air conditioner was somewhat noisy
Location: Not much around, but Parson's is a cute, small town -- definitely a slice of middle America.
We needed a place to stay about midway between Wichita and Branson and there aren't a whole lot of alternatives. This had decent reviews and we have generally been pleased by Best Western. This was no exception. While not fancy, it was clean and comfortable. The desk clerk was very friendly and helped us find a good restaurant in town. Breakfast was included with the room, and while not elaborate, had a good choice of items.

Nice hotel for two nightsPosted Oct 8, 2012
Pleasant enough, but the room organization is strange. I received a room with a huge hot tub in one corner of the room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Wouldn't stay there again.Posted Jul 23, 2012
The rooms need updating. Ours smelled like urine and smoke but was a non smoking room. The TV was on a low dresser which made it hard to see from the bed. The bathroom was lacking a towel mat for the slippery tile floor. We stayed 2 nights but were surprised to find it had not been freshen after we returned the first day. Bed unmade, no new towels etc. It seemed very poorly managed.

Better than nothing...Posted Oct 28, 2011
Location: Book a room in Joplin or Miami, OK until they get a real hotel in this region.
Considering there really are not any quality Motels (or hotels for that matter) within 40+ miles of Parsons I was happy to find this modestly okay Motel. The one problem I have with this motel (and the chain in general) is that my room had a door to the neighboring room and that door had about two or three inches of clearance between it and the floor. The net result is that I heard every grunt, cough and moan from the elderly man that was in the room next door.

Stayed there before, will stay there again next visit. Thinking of moving back home (Parsons).Posted Jul 9, 2010
Said it all in the above. The only thing that was noticeable but not reall inconvient, was the early pool closing time. People who travel need to relax at the end of the day, there time is not always hotel time. Midnight would be more realistic for tired travelers or just late night arrivals if one has one or two children who have slept on the trip and are ready to stay awake all night. Dissapointed the old bowling alley was out of business, that was handy.
