“large suite suited us fine”

Staff was super nice-even upgraded our room to a larger one. The suite was larger than I thought and location was good. My son loved the pool. The room was comfortable and we were very pleased.

“Nice, excellent priced condo rental.”

Really large condos, clearly timeshares. Nice, well appointed and maintained. Covered parking with onsite security. Heated pool, and the beach is right across the street, about a 4-5 minute walk to the ocean. Lots of places to eat within just a few miles. 7-11 almost next door. Fully stocked kitchen, with all equipment, utensils, plates, pots, ect you need to make dinner, and a dishwasher for afterwards. Very friendly staff. Not a hotel, these are condos, and so you will be charged a $3.99 per day resort fee, but this is very reasonable for the area.

“Surprisingly good hotel”

This is the kind of hotel room you would have wanted to stay in for a week. I was a bit surprised since I booked it by my phone and didn't really check out the pictures, but what a great place. First off, it was one of the cheapest places off the entire beach area near St Petersburg. Second, it has a full kitchen with appliances, living room, lots of space everywhere else, and a patio. Parking is good, walk to the beach not too bad, though this place is not -right- on the beach. Pool didn't seem too special and the view from your room isn't amazing as its next to a park with kind of some trees right there... definitely better than the side of a building :p For the cost, and the simple comfort and size of the rooms, this is a great choice if you're staying in the area

“Legacy Resorts - Indian Shores”

We chose this resort because we wanted to stay in the immediate area. With that said, we were happily surprised with our accomodation - a great view of the Inland Waterway from the living room and front balcony; the resort and our room was pretty quiet, and the resort has a very nice deck and dock on the waterway that we enjoyed. Even though my wife thought that this resort would not be to her liking, she now wants to go back for another stay, that's how pleased she was with our experience. One downside was that the pool is small - OK for a bit of aqua aerobics, but not for real swimming, so swimming is at the beach which is accessible after a short walk on the other side of Gulf Blvd. The other downside was that the roadside sign only has the street number on it - no name, so it is difficult to know where to turn in to get into the resort. Took us a couple of drive-bys to arrive! The area is very nice - there is a bus/trolley that runs the length of the beaches - we used it for sight-seeing - and there is a 7/11 for basic food and supplies within a short walk. Also within walking distance are two restaurants, one a pub/restaurant which served very tasty food and the second is the Salt Rock Grille - a fancier place also with excellent food. And lastly, still within walking distance is an ice cream shop - not so much to look at but with excellent ice cream and a variety of other quick food and one of our favorite destinations.

“Would have liked free WiFi”

This place was everything that we expected. Have stayed there several times before. I do wish they had free WiFi. Most hotels do today. Beyond that the place continues to be just what we needed.

Nice condo/hotel. Easy walk to public access of beach. No special view from provate blacony in back of room but seeing manatees in inlet in front made up for it. Staff nice, provided activities for kids for reasonable cost. Clean, maint anence quick, large unit. Great, will stay again....

“Nice hotel for everyone.”

Avery nice & upkept hotel. Pool was nicely kept and warm. Staff was very helpful on any activity we acquired. They even lent us fishing poles to fish the dock! Bed was a little uncomfortable but everything else was nice.
