Could not get air in to work to work. It was like a sauna. Then on day of check out at 940 clean entered room we were still in and check out was not until 11 and then did it again like 15 mins later

Check in was a bit difficult, front desk clerk was new and by himself didnt know procedures and how to do things, especially when dealing with cash and being paid with cash, also had to stop him from giving the wrong amount in change which would have left his drawer short. Had issues with getting key card 3 times to work for the room, and had to be switched to another room that a new key card worked . Other wise experience was good.

We stay here every time we go visit our daughter at IUP. It seems that the service and cleaniness is starting to degrade. We had room 213 this time and the room was clean but i think the cleaning staff overlooked the bathroom. Shower had black mold starting to form on the ceiling near the exhaust fan and the shower needs some attention. Please next time dont have the trash cart parked in the middle of the lobby when people are trying to check in.

Staff Training is Definitely Needed.
The staff needs some serious training in customer service. They don't greet you, make any type of pleasant conversation, have a working knowledge of how to do everything required at the front desk, and more. It was like pulling teeth to get information. Making eye contact seems to be beyond their scope of ability. This hotel used to be very nice. We stayed here years ago. We assumed it would be a good place to stay again. Not so much. I'm not sure if it's new ownership, management, or what, but the staff needs some serious work.

Slow check in
Check in took forever. I was second in a line of three people. The clerk was waiting for the first person to fill out the paperwork and then asked the person behind me what their last name was so she could start checking them in. Not sure if I was invisible or what but it took a good 15 minutes to check in.

Above average hotel. Room was spacious, bed comfortable, a/c worked well, very nice staff. Sink is in the room with toilet and shower in bathroom. The bathroom was incredibly small. Had to stand between the toilet and shower to open/close the door! Bathroom should have been cleaner. The worst part was the dirty floors in the lobby and elevator.

Not very clean, sink did not drain, stained sheets. Hair all over the bathroom from previous guests. We were in the basement, below lobby level and heard other guest flushing toilets all night. Would not stay again!
