Average hotel, a little over pricedPosted Aug 26, 2014
The room was standard, the bed wasn't very comfortable. The breakfast was edible. Staff was friendly. But, the location was convenient.

Location: The Jimmy Stewart Museum is well worth the time. We had dinner twice at The Coney - great wings and great prices!!
Wish we could bottle this room and bring it with us anywhere else we travel. Spacious room with king bed, free fridge in room, free wi-fi, large shower with the head nice and high for my 6'1" tall husband, nice toiletries, location convenient to everything in Indiana- enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. Definitely worth the price.

Nice clean reasonable place to stay.Posted Jun 30, 2014
Expedia... when I arrived at the hotel they did not have my reservations from your site. The hotel accommodated my family regardless of the confusion and delay.

Cons: More and better quality bagels at breakfast, some variety.
Location: Near iup
Slept well, room was pleasant, breakfast was ok, but it was nice to have ice and 24 hour coffee.

Fair at best!Posted Apr 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
We went to the IUP Admissions open house for our son and decided to stay here because of convenience. This was also the most expensive hotel on the list! The hotel itself was fine but bed was VERY uncomfortable (mattress was too hard for my taste yet my wife liked it). Breakfeast was fine and location was great but, I would probably try other hotels in the area before opting for this one again. There is a Comfort Inn right across the street that looked nice from the outside. Also, there are some local hotels (non-franchise) in the area. Overall, our stay was OK but I will try another hotel in the area before going back to this one.

Accommodating and ComfortablePosted Feb 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
I stayed here with a friend the night before Groundhog Day and I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfy, and the staff was friendly. They even started their take away breakfast snack bags and coffee a couple hours early (we left the hotel around 4am and it was ready for us) on 2 Feb to accommodate those of us who were up and departing the hotel very early to get up to Gobblers Knob for Groundhog Day. Sadly, I left my pillow that I don't leave home without but I called and they had it and will be mailing it back to me (at my expense of course). Thankful for the great service.
