Best Western Airport Suites Indianapolis, IN

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Reasonable rates, convenient location near interstate, not far from downtown. Breakfast was better than most, included eggs, biscuits, gravy, etc.
Cons: Funky smell in entrance foyer, could be due to remodeling.
Location: It was near airport, a Bob Evan's Restaurant right next door. About 4-5 miles from downtown.
Hotel was nice, room nicely appointed, full breakfast included. Staff friendly and pleasant. Recently remodeled as there was a large dumpster in parking lot full of old carpet and framed pictures. Wish they could have recycled picture frames. Room freezing upon arrival, not a good use of energy.

It was ok, nothing to write home about! I would not recommended this facility to anyone. It was not what I expected nor was it as appealing as it was portrayed to be online.

Not up to best western standards

The sheets were dirty and not tucked in...like they just arranged the blanket from the last guest.

Close to ABATE Class

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Location
My mom and I stayed here for 2 nights while attending the ABATE motorcycle training course at the old airport. It is only a few minutes and a straight shot down the road, so I would definitely recommend staying here for anyone taking the class. I found the front desk staff to be very pleasant. Check-in was fast and easy. Our room was clean and the AC and everything worked fine. I thought the breakfast was really good and they had more to choose from than a lot of other places. Cereal, waffles, muffins, biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, and juices. This is a good hotel for the price!

Room was bigger than expected but my sheets were stained yellow and instead of a fitted sheet, the bottom sheet was a flat sheet carelessly tossed on the bed (not even tucked in). I felt very uncomfortable in the room after I had seen the sheets and had it not been 2:30am I would have gone elsewhere. Normally I wouldn't complain about a flat sheet instead of fitted but I woke up sleeping only on the mattress- gross. Not to mention the beds need to be upgraded. It was like sleeping on straight springs. Thankfully I only spent one night, and won't stay again. The room was just outdated and looked run down.

Room was fine, but breakfast was only OK

Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: Room
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Very convenient to 495 around town.
Breakfast was convenient, but going next door to the restaurant is an option for those with the time.

Everything we needed

Posted May 15, 2015
Pros: There were no unpleasant surprises!
Cons: Not sure.
Location: It is near the airport and has a Bob Evans restaurant right next door. Checking Urban Spoon, we found several restaurant options within a few minutes.
We are happy to recommend this hotel to anyone. We had everything we needed for a stop along our road trip, including fridge and microwave in the room. It was clean and well organized. The breakfast had plenty of variety for us. It was easy to get right off and back on to the freeway, with adequate restaurant options within a short distance.

Did not get the room that reserved and paid for

Posted May 11, 2015
They overbooked rooms and so when we got there in the evening to check in was told would be getting 2 double beds in a room and not 1 queen bed that I requested as just was my husband and I. But found more ironic is the front desk staff told me they would not be charging me though to have the double beds. I was flabbergasted that they would even say that as I did not reserve that when placed my reservations, if anything should have gotten a lower price.

Good location for airport.

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: The suite-like room. The proximity to the airport hotel where we had a meeting but couldn't afford to stay in.
Cons: Advise of phones out of service when checking in, or better yet, fix the phones.
Location: Residential area. Close to airport; shuttle service. Great local chain pizza Noble Romans was nearby. Next to a family restaurant.
After reserving our room, I read a notice on Expedia saying there was no front desk; please phone for admittance. I called before leaving home to find out that indeed they do have a 24-hour front desk and check-in as usual. Our room was large and very comfortable -- a suite consisting of a front room with couch, desk, 2 chairs, dresser, and TV; a kitchenette with storage (no supplies), a microwave and a refrigerator, and either a vanity or a one-person eating shelf; and 2 double beds and a closet in a cramped room without a door. Ice machines were not on every floor. Hot breakfast was included -- the usual continental fare plus hot biscuits and gravy -- in a slightly crowded dining area. The big, big downside: The phones were out all over the hotel -- no way to call the desk, no internet service, no wake-up call! And no offer of a discount, though I was too rushed in the morning to ask for one.
