Indianapolis Stay

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: The suite, my wife and I had a private bedroom & our son had his own area and TV.
Location: Many chain restaurants and shopping
We found the hotel to be very nice. Location is close to a lot of chain restaurants along with shopping centers. We were in town to visit my sister so we didn't hang out in this area, but we have in past visits. Easy off and on to the interstate.

North side Indy

I give this hotel high marks for a suite room at $89/night. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and willing to help. Building has some age on it but has been well-kept.

Was okay

Posted May 19, 2014
Pros: Breakfast. Cleanliness. Well maintained.
Location: Good location, close to I-465, restaraunts.
The property wass clean and well maintained. The breakfast was quite good compared to other hotels at this level. Room was nice but the walls were thin; heard everything going on nearby: upstairs footsteps, water flusing down pipes, etc.

Slightly below "middle of the road"

Posted Feb 24, 2014
Good value for the money. Big, spacious room. Cleanliness was the biggest issue. There was a fingernail on the bedspread when we arrived, and the coffee maker was not suitable for use. Decent hot breakfast was included, but like most hotels, healthy options were extremely limited. Not the best to start the day with waffles, bacon, and biscuits & gravy.

NOT the BEST Best Western. . .

Posted Jan 28, 2014
Pros: The suite layout was quite nice, and the bed was comfy.
Cons: The sales manager needs training in customer service.
Location: Zionville, a few miles north, is a quaint and cute town.
While the facilities were comfortable, and most of the staff were helpful, the sales manager was a problem. I asked that I be given the posted "walk-in" rate, $10 or more below what I had reserved with Expedia, and a very helpful front desk person arranged for these reservations to be cancelled without penalty, in agreement with Expedia; But the sales manager overruled his front desk staff, refusing to modify or cancel my existing reservations, threatening that I would be penalized by having to pay the full reserved amount if I left the hotel. He claimed that Best Western has voided its contract with Expedia because of "such problems."

Pleasant hotel but little soundproofing

Posted Oct 25, 2013
Location: At the time of our stay, guests could use their room key to purchase at the nearby Costco without a membership.
The overall experience was positive (cleanliness, staff friendliness, etc), but throughout the night we heard guests in the rooms on each side of us and on the floor above us. Either it was an unusually loud night (possibly, since it was a Saturday) or there is very little soundproofing. It made for a less-restful night.

Very nice

Posted Jul 5, 2013
Pros: Everything
Was amazed by the size of our lodgings, very comfy, spacious, 2 separate rooms, each with a TV, and the front room had a pull-out sofa-bed, which would've been great if the kids were with us. There was a fridge and a microwave oven. Very homey. Free breakfast was good, nice selection of breakfast foods. For $75 a night, you can't beat that with a stick or a spoon!

Excellent value for the price

Posted Apr 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was an excellent value for the price. It was a small, but adequate, suite. Very clean. Staff was friendly & responsive to each request. I was there for almost 3 full days, writing, and it was more than adequate. I would stay there again. Plenty of restaurants close. Very convenient.
