Good experiencePosted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Room/facilities very nice, clean, comfortable.
Cons: Staff friendliness & knowledge, opening in back gate (had to walk all the way around to the front of the hotel to get back inside)
Location: Bob Evans across the street, BK, McDonalds, 2 gas stations
From Buffalo NY staying for the weekend for the HorrorHound Convention at the Marriott. Walking distance from the Marriott which was nice. Staff was very unhelpful. We were very thirsty and did not have a car at the hotel, we only had $5 bills and the soda machine did not take them. We went to the front desk to ask for singles or change and they told us they do not do that and to walk over a neighboring hotel to do that?! So we asked where the nearest gas station was because we were walking and we were told "There's stuff all up and down E. Shadeland." Um okay.

Newly remodeledPosted Sep 5, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff and clean.
Location: It's a couple blocks from a fantastic diner called the Four Seasons. Best fried chicken I've ever had in a restaurant.
I can only speak for the room itself as I used no other amenities. It had just been remodeled and all the furnishings were brand new. While the remodel job was not quality work, it was nevertheless new and therefor clean. The hotel is a good value and the staff is friendly.
