“ZZZ...”

We were pleasantly surprised by the room! We chose it since it was close to where we wanted to be, but I was leery since the reviews I read weren't up to date nor impressive. Will stay again! The staff was friendly, the room was clean & the bed was comfy!

I was pleased with how clean and nice the hotel was, until I found an odd stain on my sheets. The bathroom and dining area was nicely cleaned, though. The sign in the room on top of the TV said that breakfast ended at 10 am, however it was a lie. I went down at 9 am and the workers were already closing the breakfast. I mentioned this to the counter person and she said they knew of the problem and that another sign said 9 am for closing. However, there was no other sign to let customers aware of the breakfast hours. Due to this I went out to eat, when I paid for breakfast at the hotel. On another note, there was no elevator in service and no one even offered to help with the bags.

In this part of town there are not many options and I chose based on the website description and photos and because it advertised the "Great Start" breakfast. When I checked in I was extremely disappointed to see this particular location no longer offered the full breakfast with waffles, cereal etc. One reason I chose Comfort Inn vs. a lower-priced hotel was the breakfast- our family saves on breakfast by not having to go out. The meager food offered (granola bars, instant oatmeal and packaged donuts) was pathetic. Due to the added hassle of having to go out for breakfast, Comfort Inn should remove the cards posted on the nightstand promising "A Great Start to a Good Day" since the breakfast offered was ridiculously lame- NOT a good start to our day at all. Guests complained that there was not a good food selection and then I saw the children of hotel staff carrying armloads of the packaged snacks and bottled water down the hall and into the linen/storage area, presumably for their own consumption. Lastly, our shower had mold and unsightly dirt in the corners. My husband had only cold water for his shower. One of the most negative hotel experiences I have ever had.

The meager food offered in the morning (granola bars, instant oatmeal and packaged donuts) was pathetic. I'd have rather paid a lower rate with the knowledge that I'd need to go out for breakfast the next day. We spent an extra $32 plus tip on breakfast for my family. I would recommend removing the cards posted on the nightstand promising "A Great Start to a Good Day" since the breakfast offered was ridiculously lame. Also, the children of the hotel's maid staff were seen carrying armloads of the packaged snacks and bottled water down the hall. Guests complained that there was not a good selection and most of us were pretty cranky- NOT a good start to our day at all. Our shower had mold and unsightly dirt in the corners. My husband had to use cold water for his shower. One of the most negative hotel experiences I have ever had.
