“Excellent business hotel.”
Just what you want in a business hotel. Unobtrusive but gracious staff. Appealing public areas. Very good restaurant in-house and convenient to a range of other dining opportunities. Well equipped workout facilities. The "business hotel" remark shouldn't be considered limiting, but reflects my experience for my purpose.
“The cherry on top of a perfect weekend!!”
We were impressed from the moment we pulled up to the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed. The location is unbelievable. Walking distance to everything in downtown Indy. It is even connected by a enclosed walking bridge for added comfort during the winter months! We were in town for a Colts game and we needed something to improve our spirits due to thier record and the Conrad helped put a positive swing on our the weekend! The room was more that we could have expected, and the bathroom amenities were outstanding. Nice lap pool. They even took our bags and put them in our car parked in valet so that we did not have to worry about them while we were at the game. Will book again the next time our travels take us to Indianapolis.
“Absolutely loved it.!!”
We stayed at the Conrad to celebrate our Anniversary and was totally impressed with everything about it. The service was out of this world.Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.
“Nice but expensive”
This hotel was very nice as the other reviewers have said however we felt it was overpriced. Valet parking was an additional $$$/night and internet was also a rip off. I travel a lot for my job and never have to pay for internet access in the room. The continental breakfast was also not great. . It was not worth the $- I've had much better for free. Bathroom was the best part, very nice. We stayed here for a convention at the nearby Indy Convention Center. You can get there through skywalks which was great although you can't get back to the hotel via skywalk after 9pm b/c Conrad locks the door. Staff was nice and pool area was also nice. Room key required to operate elevator and the sensor was touchy. Our keys worked ok but saw many others struggle w/theirs. Elevators were very fast as others have mentioned which was nice. The location was the best part about this hotel for us.
“Staff outing”
I took 6 women for a special staff outing and overnight at the Conrad. They loved it. One gal said she would never have been able to stay at such a lovely place on her own. What a beautiful hotel.
“What an experience!”
Conrad Indianapolis may not be the largest hotel in town (although it is definitely larger than what would be labelled a boutique hotel), it is one of the finest hotels I have stayed in. The lobby is nicely decorated and not overly ornate. They couldn't provide me with an early check-in as requested because the room was not ready -- that was fine. The front-desk staff was exceptional. Olivia, in particular, stood out as one of the best desk persons I have dealt with. Efficient, professional and yet very human! The room is simply wonderful. Subtly decorated and not over the top while you still get a sense of luxury. The bathroom is outstanding, with the television inside as well as the all glass shower stall with the unusual shower head. The restaurant at the hotel was one great place to eat. The breakfast offerings, while a bit on the expensive side, were very fine. I recommendhe Conrad Indianapolis wholeheartedly.
“At the Conrad”
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Elegant stately but understated.Where I'll be staying when I' in Indianapolis.
“Very Impressive”
I will certainly seek out the Conrad in other travel destinations. The service and accommodations were very good. This is definitely on my return list.
“Perfect Getaway!”
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Everything was absolutely perfect. We recieved a complementary bottle of champagne and chocolates upon entering our room! We also received breakfast vouchers, and free appetizer from the Capital Grill. Our room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. A wonderful luxurious getaway! We can't wait to go back again! =)
“Loved it!!!”
We loved our stay at this hotel. They literally catered to your every whim! The rooms were beautiful and clean which is a VERY difficult thing for me to say! The restaurants in the hotel were also fabulous. I would recommend if you like a higher class hotel to choose this one.
