“Not impressed”

There was hair all over the bathroom, not one of the three ice machines were working on any of the floors that i went to, the room had a creepy vibe. The tv had about 4 channels one of which did not work, another made a loud ringing noise. The toilet you had to hold down the lever to get it to flush, that took awhile to find out so nothing was flushing. Overall the room was creepy, and pretty dirty.

Area recommendations

The neighborhood was not a problem, just the average hotel area near the airport.

“Not the airport hotel you want to stay at.”

It was filthy. Leaking ice machine caused a mildew stench throughout our floor. There was literally a small closet that propped open with a broken piece of drywall that reeked of feces. After further inspection there actually was feces in a small closet less than a few yards from rooms. Terrible. Never again.

Get a room downtown if you can.

“Wouldn't stay there again”

Beds were horribly uncomfortable. Sleeping on the floor might have been better. The bathroom looked like it was out of a horror movie. Staff was nice enough though. Loud being by airport.

“VERY Disappointed”

The staff was extremely rude and unaccommodating. The room and bathroom were outdated and gross. The heating and air unit did not work properly. The sheets and blankets were dirty. Our shower had a clog in it and would fill with water while taking a shower. I was told that the hotel was in walking distance of downtown, that's not true. The receptionist is as far from helpful as you can get. She was rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to speak to us and give us any information. I will NEVER stay here again. I'd rather sleep on the streets of Indianapolis than stay here again.

Area recommendations

Downtown Indy. Lots of great Historical monuments/museums to visit. Beautiful city, great restaurants.

Getting around

The city bus system is great. $4 gets you an all day ticket. Try to purchase tickets before your trip.

Must see

The canal is amazing! Go to the American Legion Mall, lots of great things to see. Indiana World War Memorial is awesome. The statues, monuments and museums are all wonderful. Definitely check out Lucas Oil Stadium! Go Colts!

“Unhappy Stay! Do not recommned!”

Evidently, this hotel has new owners - who don't appear to want to put any money into this hotel. The front desk staff were being asked to work 16-hour shifts. The dining room staff weren't allowed to replenish supplies for the continental breakfast. The credit card reader was not working, but the front desk was not allowed to accept cash. This made check-in and check-out slow! There are ice machines on only three of the 5 floors - and I could not find one that worked. The A/C was not working in the front lobby, and it barely worked in the room. Speaking of breakfast, the reservation said "breakfast". However, it turned out to be only a continental breakfast. I found this to me misleading - as I was expecting a full hot breakfast. Location was convenient to the airport and the Indy Motor Speedway; however, there weren't any restaurants or bars located nearby - which made eating and entertainment difficult. I will not stay at this hotel again!

“One of my Top Ten Worst!”

Terrible customer service. T.V was broke and they would not remedy the problem. Had it not ben so late, I would have chosen different hotel. ALSO, they claim to be an airport hotel....at 8 miles away!

“unhappy visit”

we came in for the brickyard (nascar race). we tried checking in at 1 (which it said was the time to check in, they wouldnt let us till 4. after arguing with the front desk about it, they finally said 'we have something' later we learned that it is under new ownership and people that have been staying there for years for the race were unhappy with the "hospitality" our garbage wasnt taken out, we didnt get fresh towels, and there was used soap in the shower. the front desk man was rude and un helpful. the continental breakfast was ridiculous and i will never go back

“Ok hotel, good price, but uncomfortably hot in the room!”

The least Days Inn could do when they have guests checking in is to turn on the A/C in their room when the temperatures are over 90 degrees! We didn't arrive till 10 at night and had to crank our A/C, take cold showers and then lay there for several hours before the room was comfortable enough to sleep. Other than that they were quite convenient and the park and fly option is a great deal! (Much cheaper than parking at the airport!) and the shuttle made it nice for catching our flight. We would gladly stay again if we knew they would turn on the A/C for us before we arrived!
