Since we stayed on eclipse day, the price was crazy, but overall a decent establishment. A minor annoyance was that some tricks were required to get the tv to work and even more tricks required to turn it off. It was on all night.

Bed like a rock
Bed was as hard as a rock, tossed and turned all night. $250 deposit for the room when I showed up seems like just a ploy to keep your money and tack on charges. I have never had to give a deposit.

The Econo-Lodge in Shelbyville was perfectly located to the east of Indianapolis to see the B1G Championship won by MICHIGAN. The staff was courteous and the provided breakfast satisfying. Here's a cheer from my mom's cheerleading days: Shelbyville, Shelbyville, you are it! S-H for Shelbyville I-T for it!

The staff was very personable and the room was exceptionally clean. Breakfast wasn't too bad, and overall, the stay was pretty damn great. My only complaint is the bed could have been softer.

Check in was easy the front desk young lady was so nice and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and it was a good experience. I travel a lot and this was a good stay.

The place was clean at a first glance. At the front desk the woman tried to charge me a $200 deposit for being a local then when I opened the drawer closest to the window there was remnants of crystal meth in the drawer and a good bit of it. The drain stopper was clearly supposed to be attached and wasn't at all it sat on the side of the tub

This place was an excellent choice for affordability. It was extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was waffles/eggs/sausage/cereal/fruit/bagels. You will not go wrong by staying here. If you cannot do stairs, request a first floor as the property does not have an elevator.

It did not have any accessible rooms when we checked in. Rooms were on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator available. Negotiating the stairs was difficult. They did find an accessible room for me for the second day of our stay.

Overnight stay at the econo lodge. l was rather impressed. The outside of the property was clean. Check-in went rather fast since she already had all my info. The room looked nice and clean. Checked the beds for bedbugs & found none. Had a good night sleep. Breakfast was okay. could be upgraded. Thank you Econo Lodge!
