“Great location”
This place wa great. Walking distance to restaurants and Lucas oil field
“Find another hotel”
Lines for breakfast were insane, breakfast was 'meh... lines for drinks at manager's reception were ridiculous, waits for elevator were totally out of control. Temperature control at this place is still horrible... get ready for a hot, hot room.
“Will Definitely go back!”
Had a great stay! Managers reception, pool, breakfast, great location... We will definitely stay there again!
“Pleasantly Surprised how nice Indy Is!”
The downtown is condensed into an easy area to get around in, with the Embassy Suites in the center of it all!
“Very comfortable”
My room was very comfortable. I got a suite with a king sized bed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I have a problem with my back and always get sore when I sleep in a different bed, but my back didn't hurt the whole time I stayed there which was 4 nights. It was nice to spread out into the other room and sit on the couch at night. The cable could stand to be better, but wasn't terrible. My biggest complaint was that you couldn't take an elevator from the lower level up to the main floor and had to use an escalator which is hard with a heavy suitcase. I was also a bit afraid to walk around alone because of all the homeless people. but they were respectful when I passed by. I would recommend this hotel to a friend because I had a very comfortable stay. I was on business trip and this was a quick walk to the convention center. There were several good restaurants within walking distance too.
“Couldn't Check In”
Hotel check-in time was 4:00 but we could not get a room until 6:10 p.m. We had paid in advance so we were held hostage in their lobby, hungry, tired and wanting to clean up. We were offered the obligatory "sorry" from the front desk clerk but no other type of restitution was ever offered. Very disappointing trip.
“Nice”
The hotel was really nice, it was a very busy weekend but security was on staff. The only issue was the elevators not working at times.
“Great location,terrible pillows”
This hotel had everything we'd expected when making the reservation, except comftorable beds. Each bed had 3 pillows, but it could have been 10 and it wouldn't have been any better, they collapsed under any weight and we resorted to wrapping them up in blankets.Breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very professional. This is a hotel we will stay at again, but we'll bring our own pillows.
“Sweet Indy Embassy Suites”
Thanks to Expedia, it was a great value. We asked a hotel staff member, who turned out to be the Asst. Gen Mgr, for directions. He enthusiastically obliged, even walking us part of the way down the steps and through the lower halls. The free hot breakfast and free, unlimited happy hour drinks were unexpected bonuses. The parking fee is typical for a downtown location. The bathroom walls could use freshening up and the TV required wire jiggling, or the hotel would have rated solid 5's.
“Nice Older Hotel”
Nice clean older hotel in downtown Indy. Great location. Comfy, clean bed. Good breakfast
