Just decent

The rooms are showing age and are in need of updating, no real control over the temperature in the room. We stayed on the 11th floor and our view consisted of a brick wall of the next building. I've stayed in just as nice if not nicer for much less, plus side is it is close to everything you'd want to do in downtown Indy!

Great hotel next to mall and convention center.

My experience was very good! Very friendly staff. Not ADA accessible...I have a bad knee and it was hard to get to main level of street.

I really liked the room because the was a sort of small living room and the bedroom and that was nice. the pool was clean and warm. one elevator wasn't working but it wasn't too inconvenient as there are four. the breakfast was excellent and they had the best pancakes ever that I just had to tip the oxacan cook $20. loved it

Good breakfast

It was difficult to maintain a warm temperature in the room. Desk staff was not great. Custodial staff worked hard but didn't get room clean until late afternoon.

Waste of money, big money

Posted Mar 13, 2014
The hotel rooms were running at 80-82 degrees constantly and the only help we were offered was to move to another hot room. I flew my sons in for the bigten tourney and spent over 750 dollars for a totally uncomfortable experience. Marriotts from now on. Awful response by management

Alright place to stay

Its very convenient if you plan on doing a lot downtown. The free breakfast is great too. The hotel is outdated though. Everything in the room is old, it smells dusty, and for some reason they decided to make everything the color brown. I was only staying a short time, so overall it was fine.

Information about amenities is incorrect.

Posted Feb 16, 2014
I thought this hotel as a Valentines gift for my husband. He loves somnus and I specifically picked it for that reason. When I checked and I asked where the sauna was in the front desk clerk pointed towards the pool. There was no sauna and for some reason it is listed as an amenity on every website to book this hotel. On top of that the room was not very clean and extremely hot. You cannot adjust the heat or cold in the room. We stay hotels for business 250 days of the year and this was one of the most disappointing nights.

Embassy Suites: Where the shopping action is.

Posted Feb 2, 2014
Pros: The suites have super comfortable beds, a wet bar, a mini-fridge, a microwave, and two TVs in two separate rooms.
Cons: The lighting is too dim.
Location: Shopping -- see above. Also close to Lucas Oil Stadium, Banker's Life Fieldhouse, and Victory Field for the sports fan, and a museum and zoo.
We chose the Embassy Suites because we had stayed there a month before and loved almost everything about it, plus we were planning on some heavy-duty shopping. It is connected to Circle Centre Mall with over 100 stores, and within walking distance of a jeweler's, a chocolate shop, and a men's clothing store, all of which were targets of our shopping onslaught.
