Sport Watch Missing

We stayed at this particular hotel because of the location to our sporting event. While the accommodations were fine, we left disappointed when my son's sport watch (Christmas gift) went missing from our room. Physically returned within hours of checking out. Hotel staff said they checked our room but there was no watch. We left Indy thinking maybe my son may have actually packed it and we would find it when we got home but it was not in any of our bags. He knew exactly where he left it in our room. Called the hotel the next day. Was told the manager stepped away from the desk but would call me back. A front desk person called me back saying the manager left for the day. Received a message from the manager the next morning (two days after our stay) stating there was no watch found and that "the guests" are responsible for their own belongings. She said my only recourse was to file a report with the police and she then would write up an incident report. We travel quite a bit and I have never had anything like this happen. Extremely disappointing!

The front desk staff were very accomodating due to our schedule and possible timing of check out. Very friendly and worked with us.

Pros: The walkways, High Velocity bar.
Cons: Nice to have a mini fridge and microwave. We had to through two leftoever meals away because there was no fridge.
Location: Great location to convention center. Good location to stadium and bars if you don't mind walking a little ways in the covered walkways.
We went for the championship game and could not get into our room until 5:30 even though check in time was 3. They said they had a big conference the night before and everybody didn't leave until 12:00, which is checkout time. They have a championship game every year so they knew the crowd would be there. They did end up taking off the parking fee without us asking so that was a plus. Next.... the rooms are very small, no bathroom fan, no mini fridge, no microwave and the walls must be paper thin, we could here the couple next door in the bathroom. Yuck! Other than all that it was a good location and the walkways to get to the stadium were a great way to stay out of the elements of the weather. I know they jack up the prices for special events and it is for the convenience of the guests but I would not pay the rate we did to stay there again. It would be nice to if they offered a map of all the walkways so you know where your going!

Condor- Thank you for sharing feedback regarding your recent stay with us. I apologize that we were unable to have a room ready for you at check in. With the amount of early check-ins that day, our housekeeper were working their hardest to get everyone in early. Again, I apologize, this is certainly not the arrival experience I want for our guests. I do hope you'll give us another chance in the future to show you this is not the norm at our hotel.

The Stay that Wasn't

Pros: Never got to see it.
Cons: This hotel can improve by honoring its reservations.
None of the numbered ratings above actually mean anything because we did not stay at this motel. This Expedia site will not let me continue without selecting a number. When we arrived, we were told that even though this hotel had taken our money, they did not have a room for us. They said they had already made arrangements with the hotel next door for us to stay there. I thought only airlines overbooked. Will not make reservations here again.

Dear Traveler, I do apologize that we were oversold for the evening. We do try our best not to get into that sort of situation, but when it does happen we make sure to get our guests upgraded rooms at our neighboring hotels. I do hope you reconsider and decide to give us another chance in the future.

Clean, super comfortable beds, delicious breakfast buffet, friendly staff, great location at a very reasonable price. I will be back!

Great place if you're going to Lucas Oil Stadium

Pros: Proximity to entertainment. Friendly staff.
My boyfriend and I were in town for the first time to go to a Colts game. Check-in was quick and easy. Room was very nice. In walking distance to downtown bars and Lucas Oil Stadium. Check-out is 12pm and you can leave your car in the garage until 6pm. Self parking is $23 dollars and valet is $27 (I didn't find out about the parking rates until I arrived but this could've been me just not paying attention). Breakfast was decent.

Excellent service throughout my stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Hot breakfast had a lot of variety.

Hotel stay in Indy

Family was there for a concert and it was wonderful. You can't beat the location as it was walking distant to anything you wanted to do. Had a great time and will be back again for a longer visit. Thank you.
